You'll need
1 1/2 kg jalapeno peppers
4 heads of garlic
For each jar:
1 teaspoon chickpeas
1 teaspoon lemon salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon rock salt
120ml grape vinegar
Hot water
Here's how
1- Cut off the stems of 1.5 kg of well-washed jalapeno peppers and cut them into rings.
2- Place 1 teaspoon of chickpeas at the bottom of each jar to speed up the fermentation process.
3- Add the cloves of garlic, then add the pepper rings.
4- Continue to pack the peppers tightly until the jar is full by adding more garlic cloves in between.
5- Finally, add 1 teaspoon of lemon salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of salt.
6- Pour 120 ml of grape vinegar into each jar.
7- Fill the remaining spaces in the jar with hot water.
8- Close the lid tightly and shake. Then turn them upside down.
9- Store jars in a cool, dry, dark place for about a week.
