My sister walks in, and yells out "What are you watching!? Did not know you were into puppets" I yelled back "HE'S THE REALEST PUPPET IN THE GAME, SHOWING US HOW TO MAKE BANGERS!"
These are your best videos for me, you know the ins and outs of ableton, you explain everything so I can understand so showcasing your skills really teaches me a lot about ableton. Please don’t stop making these videos and make them longer if u can or more in depth ones.😄😄👌👍
I seriously can't wait to manifest everything you've been teaching me, Reid. I hope one day I can create something worthy of your critique! Thanks for everything sir
So, totally new... been doing this for a few months now. Things are getting a little better. I bought your vocal thing last night and HOLY SH*T!!! My vocals are FIRE!!!
you make better beats in 30 minutes than i do in a whole week to a month. I'm new to producing and it takes me WEEKS even months working on a single song. I started producing like a year or 2 ago but i haven't taken it seriously until this year and i still haven't finished a single song. I always get lost on what i need next like after i make the first drop then what do i add next? just things like that. If its not getting lost on what part i need next for my current project, its me getting distracted by playing with different samples from splice and trying to think of the next song i'll want to work on. That's my biggest problem right there, i get distracted SUPER EASILY and i keep starting new projects without ever finishing them. I hope you or someone else that's been in the business reads this and gives me some advice. There is no thrill i get more than making a sick beat (or song) and jamming out to it. I wan't my music to make people go shit crazy in the clubs or festivals and that's why i love producing so much because of the power music has over people and really its the only thing iv'e ever taken seriously so its the only thing I want to do. However, if i can't get over those problems i mentioned then idk what to do lol.
Reid: "Dealing with unexpected crashes.." My perfectly capable desktop running ableton: So uhhhh, yeah...... I see you plugged in your sound card. I'm gonna have to... *FREEZES*...*CRASHES*
Anand Prahash it creates a grid within the sample that the starting point marker snaps to as you move it around. I’d rather have smooth control sliding the sample start marker around
There’s still talent required when producing generic pop music. No producer produces constant hits since there are way too many variables that go into making a hit song including marketing and the vocalist that jumps on the beat. Even the best producers in the world only average 5-10 chart toppers out of every 50 songs produced. Even most pop stars only average 1-4 hit singles per album release. Believe me making generic pop music isn’t ‘easy’.
Fr33 Worker and you’re making this statement with what success? People are quick to rip on genres when they have no results. The only people that have authority to say pop music is ‘easy’ are master producers like Quincy Jones, max Martin, and Phil Spector. The market is so saturated and competitive that the songs have to be catchy, simple, and yet detailed enough that listeners don’t get bored. And if the majority of the population are “dumb listeners” then making dumb music shouldn’t be that difficult, right?
Thank you so much, you are the only one who makes this kind of beat in ableton. I would love if you make more of this kind of beat. this is beat is onfire!! Thank you again keep it up bro. ps very good explainationen!!!
