cool design.. would ya be able to put a elbow and hose on the discharge and use it to pump water from a water jug up to a fish tank .. about 3 feet lift??
What is the thickness of the impeller plate and I presume the diameter is 1 inch. Is the rod is of steel one or shall we use cycle spokes having 2mm thickness for it. Very good project and it makes me to attempt in making. One suggestion the end cap at the back of motor and the piece connecting it with the motor mount cap should be provided with small holes for air inlet to cool the motor. Kudos. keep it up and post such DIYs.
Nice Project... Thank you... I'll try to make it... Actually I want to make a powerfull water pump for bike washing...could you tell me pls...witch motor will be Best for using my project?
Very very nice project. Kia yeh project 1/2 inch pipe me possible he aur is size me PVC pipe cap mil jaien ge. Mujeh yeh pump drinking water bottle 19 littre k leye banana he. So Plz reply must.
u need to add one extra fan on top from same motor for cooling , or it will burn in regular use . usually all pumps have that ventilation design or are submersible for 24hour use .
Nothing special it is simple soldering, you may first clean any dirt using sandpaper from surfaces, the surfaces should be shiny enough to properly conduct heat when soldering is applied, preheat surfaces and then apply soldering, it will work in same manner of soldering between impeller and rod as showed in video.
Lucas Marinho im imagining not plastics like to melt in fuel so they would need to be fuel safe the the issue of the motor in fuel a cars fuel pump would be better i would think
I am concerned about the risk of fire ou explosion, i have a few pumps but they work with a magnet to produce movement, the dc motor isolated like the video would have any risk of producing a spark or coming in contact with the fluid whatsoever?
