There is no cheaper and more easily available material for crafting and model making than cardboard because lets face it, nothing is as cheap as free! Absolutely love your stuff, you're an inspiration!
I somehow missed this video! This is awesome! I’ve never seen someone make Predator blades that look this good and actually work properly. I’ve usually seen ones that only extend a few inches and have very plain designs, but with how much these blades extend and how the blades only go a bit past the knuckles when closed, these are way better
Thank you SO MUCH for the tamplates, Raphael! I've just finished this morning, and it's AWESOME!!! But i have also found some issues on the templates. The templates said that the blades should be 0.5 cm thick, and to make 4 of them. But I then realised that the blades were too thick and I had to flatten them. But it worked in the end. Anyway, thank you, you are the best!!! :)
Wonderful! Happy to hear that. About the thickness of the blade, the thickness is the initial state of the cardboard I used, so it is correct but I indeed flattened before glueing them on top of each other, and I realised after uploading the tutorial that I had forgot to show that in the video, then it was too late, so it's totally my mistake. But I will correct that in the templates asap, thanks for the head's up.
Thank you Mokso! Haha I don't know about that but what is happening to my RU-vid channel at the moment is crazy! I make more than 1k subs a day lol I don't know if it will last but that's sick! I also made some AB testing with my thumbnails to make more realistic ones as you recommended it, and you were right it is helping significantly too! :)
I've always said to people that cardboard is such a useful thing to Have, that with just a bit of creativity you can make anything with it, I've been laughed at for that comment, thank you so much for proving my point

LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! My son and I are giving it a go. I was thinking about using dowels as I am having a hard time with the cardboard rolls. What diameter would you say the rolls are supposed to be?
Glad to hear it! :) About the rolls if you're not using cardboard it's difficult to tell, I'd say if you use rolls that are 7 to 10 mm thick it should work fine
That’s really cool, I made both gauntlets, knee armor, shoulder armor and the belt armor all out of cardboard. I think it’s cool that you can use cardboard and other local items to make something so realistic and cool. I really love the work you do

Thank you brother!! Already got the template from your site last night. Now to just get all the materials. My only concern is this template is for an adult arm. I might run in to some difficulty trying to size it down to his small 6 year old arm. 🤷♂️
as a substitute for the bulky string and grip that you hold and pull for the release maybe you could use fishing wire with a loop around one of your fingers
It may work too indeed! ;) But as you need to pull quite hard to release it, fishing wire wrapped around a finger might be very uncomfortable in doing so

Wow have known you for only 24 hours, but I can say, that this channel is going to be amazing! Just from cardboard? There are many videos on YT about Diys...But they often use hard to get materials... Cant wait for summer break to start diying! Thank you!
