Thank you so much for this thorough video! I really appreciate how you took us from the very beginning of the project all the way to the very end!! We beginners don't even know how to get stuff off the mats! lol
Great video! Last night I was trying to use Cricut’s clear sticker paper but I ran in an issue with the ink not drying (an HP inkjet)- made quite a mess when I tried to remove from the mat as I had hoped it would still dry. A 2nd attempt with 1 down print quality didn’t help. Have you used that specific one & do you have any tips for getting it to dry (hadn’t even cut it yet)- certainly don’t want to keep CDS open / waiting for me to load my mat. I do have some of their newer transparent waterproof so I’m going to try that today (I thought I had purchased white or I would’ve used that last night instead since I need clear). Thanks for all the tips in this video, Corrine!
As I typically find cricut products to be extremely poor quality I have never used their clear printable stickers. I would recommend not wasting money on cricut products and use better quality products
Hello, First of all I just want to say thank you for all your awesome content on RU-vid. I refer to your channel all the time when I have a question about something. I started having a problem today that I haven't been able to find any answers for, and I hope you can help. So what is happening is when my Maker is done cutting a project it has stopped prompting me to unload that mat. The screen on Design Space shows that cutting is at 100%, but the double-headed arrow button on the Maker never lights up and nothing happens if I push it. It kind of seems like the program is just freezing up. The only way I can get the mat to unload is by canceling the cut, which obviously isn't ideal. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Design Space, but that didn't help. I also checked for updates, but it was up to date already. I tried calling Cricut customer service, but I was waiting for over an hour and nobody picked up. Are you aware of this issue and if so, do you have any troubleshooting steps I might take to resolve the problem? Thank you for your time and have a great day!
Honestly that is a machine issue and would need to talk to cricut directly about it. Its unlikely it’s actually anything in design space but you could try running the beta version and see if that helps
You’re using a setting that is too strong for the material you are using you need to adjust the cut setting to something with less pressure. You’ll need to do test cuts to find a setting that will not cut all the way through the material you are using
Yes all sticker paper should have a laminate if you want them protected from water. The ink sits on top of any of the printables so it can be damaged without something covering it
What cut settings did you use? What material type did you select to cut out your stickers. I have Neato sticker paper bug struggling to get them to cut correctly. Thank you😊
I use light cardstock but every machine is different every blade is different you will need to do test cuts to find the setting that works correctly for your machine.
Uploaded some PNGs and when I go to add an offset, the offset, Design Space never gets to the apply button turning green. The bar across the top keeps moving. I am able to do an offset with anything I find in DS. Any tips? Should I resize PNGs in another program?
Clear you cache in design space, switch from live to beta or vice versa, make your design smaller or have less designs on the screen at once. Sometimes design space is just slow
