I have made a digital POV display on a computer, with dashed lines moving back and forth, on Paint. Here is the title of the video, which you and others can search on RU-vid: Continuous Meter Display (Persistence Of Vision) The video shows a meter with an arrow, which moves back and forth, continuously independent of the pixels. It is the dashed lines that give the illusion that the arrow on the meter is sliding forward. I like your display! Good! :-)
I soldered wires to the winding connections inside a brushed DC motor and fed them through the front of the motor along the motor shaft, I took out the shaft "bearing" and mounted a new gearing outside which has a bigger hole. Then I used a silicon tube to space around the shaft and wires, through the Bearing hole. That way I was able to power the PCB. I used diodes to rectify the power, with a suitable smoothing cap.

can someone HELP ME please. I did all the steps and everything work accordingly( WHEN IS CONNECT TO THE USB where I used to upload the code). However, when I use any external power supply ( battery 9v-7v- 6V-5.5v ETC) IT doesnt work. ALL THE LIGHTS START blinking randomly and when I use the magnet close to the HALL SENSOR, there is no effect at all. once I plug it back to the usb, magically works perfect. Do I need to use the exactly same battery ? 3.7v 500maAh ? can someone help me please. How can I make it work using a BATTERY?
Çalıştırabildin mi? Bende yapıyorum aynısını ama mıknatıs tutunca tepki vermiyor. Sadece en üstteki ve en alttaki Led sürekli yanıyor. Burada yapılan işlem, hall sensör sağ ve sol bacağına 10K direnç bağlamış. Ama şemada 10K direnci sol ve orta bacağa bağlamış.🤔
