Welcome to my channel! In today’s video, I'm going to show you how to make the most delicious and creamy Rasmalai, a popular dessert that’s perfect for any special occasion.
Ingredients:
Milk 1.5 litre
Sugar 1/3 cup
Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
Condensed milk 3 tbsp
Rooh kewra 2 tsp
Dry milk powder 1 cup
All purpose flour 1 tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Ghee 1 tbsp
Egg 1
Pistachio 3-4 tbsp (chopped)
Instructions:
-In a wide cooking pot, add milk, sugar, and cardamom powder. Bring it to a boil and cook until the milk reduces to 3/4 of its original amount and changes its colour to light brown.
-Add condensed milk and mix well.
-Turn off the flame and add rooh kewra. Stir to combine.
-In a bowl, combine dry milk powder, all-purpose flour, baking powder, ghee, cardamom powder and egg. Mix well to form a dough and shape it into 7 to 8 balls.
-Add these balls to the boiling milk.
-Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes.
-Turn the balls to ensure they cook evenly and add chopped pistachios.
-Let it cool down, then chill in the refrigerator.
-Serve and enjoy your delicious Rasmalai!
