This is awesome, I'm finishing up my very first bust and I want to make realistic eyes instead of painting latex. Now I just need to hunt down some balls!
It will yellow over time (so will the resin) if it is in direct sunlight. Also, technically you have to use resin for the lens and the rest of the eyeball in this. but the polish is just a surface coating; if you use nail polish more than 1/8" thick it will not cure correctly. You should just use thin layers.
@@zoponex3224 There are UV resins (that cure with UV light) but even they yellow. I have seen people use a slight tint of blue to counteract the yellow, but honestly that just makes them look bluish until they yellow in a year or so.
@@zombiez8mybrainz It says that for $50 of mould material you can Make about 60 to 70 eyes. That's less than a dollar each. So, take that $1.00 for one eye and you still have $9.00 left to spend. Get it? lol
