I honestly love your videos. It helps me so much with dressing modest. I’m at the beginning of this modest journey,it’s a bit difficult sometimes because I don’t have a lot of ideas, but you really help me very much. Thank you🙏🏻💓
Deborah Debby so glad I could help you, Deborah! I know those beginning days can be tough, you literally don’t know where to begin. That’s exactly why I make these videos, so that it becomes easier not only to cover up but to also have STYLE! Sending you love, thank you for watching my videos ♥️
i know im randomly asking but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my login password. I love any help you can give me
*The idea of "modesty" is a complete joke. God created us to be fully naked with NO SHAME and it was only when we started playing our own game that we started viewing our bodies as disgraceful. 99% of clothing has nothing to do with trying to be provocative, it's just the person wearing what makes them comfortable. Clothing does not influence bad actions, bad character does.*
This is not only helpful for modesty but also for curvy girls. Most fashionable or trending looks don't suit all body shapes but using these tips I think I could wear those aline midi skirts etc. So from this curvy girl. Thank you!
😍👏👏👏👏👏 yesssss!!!!! I live in Florida, I'm 27, Im single, and I'm Christian. I don't want to look like a crazy old cat lady OR a trashy hooch 😂 lol. There is 100% balance between looking like an attractive/feminine/trendy hip YOUNG lady, and covering up all my goodies out of respect for God, my future husband, and myself 😊 You strike the balance sooooooo well!!!!! Omg 🙌 KUDOS!!! 👏👏👏👏 adding this to my playlist and taking notes! I'm so inspired, thank you! I've recently begun making MAJOR changes in my life, especially in the wardrobe department. It's soooo satisfying ❤ wow
Duct_Tape Heart hey hun! This comment makes my heart so happy because I started making these videos for babes like YOU! Thank you for watching and supporting my channel. I appreciate your good energy and I hope you keep coming back here and finding content you can both learn from and enjoy. Sending love from Cape Town, South Africa ♥️
Too right being modest forces you to be more stylish than you've ever been. Modesty is often seen as frumpy and unstylish, but I defy anyone to say that women who've honed the skill are frumpy and unstylish.
You popped into my recommended and I’ve never clicked on a video so fast! I go to a Christian school that has a modest dress code and this just gave me sooooo many ideas on how to wear things without sacrificing too much :) thank you!!
Ah amazing! So glad I could help. Please feel free to share these videos with your friends, I have a whole series of modest videos here on my channel. Next week Tuesday I will be posting a video on styling one skirt ten different ways, which you may also find pretty useful as a student, hope you'll be joining me here!
thank you for what you said about strapless dresses! i'm fifteen-years-old and modesty is something i've always been taught. i think strapless dresses are cute, but as a modest person, i can't wear them. i'm starting to design my own clothes and using a strapless dress and placing a turtleneck underneath it always seen like a cute idea to me. however, i started to worry because i didn't know if it would be modest or not. thinking these things, i came to your channel. you give a lot of insight and wisdom to many modest women. thank you so much once again!💛
“Whatever the cool word is, that’s what this is.” 😂 On a more serious note, you mentioned in the past you dressed a little differently. Would you be willing to talk about how you went about adapting your style and whether you went full on switch from one day to the next or if you started incorporating modest looks gradual? How did you re-learn your own style with this new modest outlook! Love your channel.x
Robyn McCormick hey love! I absolutely love that video idea and will be writing it down as an option for sure. Thank you for the suggestion and for watching my videos so far, sending you love honey!
This is so calming! I came here to watch some tips on how to make my clothing more comfortable (for me, mainly preventing wardrobe malfunctions and giving me the ability to move without worrying about my clothes all the time). It's a breath of fresh air to see women supporting others in wearing what they want, and giving the possibility of dressing in a less revealing way.
Sarelly thank you my love! It is a gorgeous dress, right? It’s designed by a friend of mine. Depending where you’re from (if they shop there) you can shop it on shopbrettrobson.com
@@user-xh3xh7yq1s He is though! She mentioned she’s agnostic yet he tells her he is the ONLY way? Those are HIS beliefs that he is pushing on to her. Just because it’s your religion, doesn’t mean everyone wants to hear about (:
Thank you for this! If we decide to start dressing modest it doesn't mean we have to throw out all our clothes and buy a whole new wardrobe! Great for transitioning over 2-3 years...etc...
Loved this video l always think l can't wear certain things because they too flashy but you've changed how l will buy from now on. Will try it out thanks hun!!! 😀...xx
Also, you can pair your crop tops with:- •High waisted trousers, skirts and other bottomwears. •If you have a black short sleeve boxy top, you can wear it over white cami/tank top and a black jeans. It will look monocromatic and stylish . • If your crop top has geometric patterns, pair it up with bell bottom pants and a pair of nice earings. • I saw many women in Indian subcontinent wearing crop tops with sarees. Crop tops as an altenative to saree blouse reduce skin exposure and easier to dress modestly.
Thank you for sharing!! I have, in the past couple years, begun embracing modest dress and have been struggling to find my way with what I already have. You have given me a new sight, a new perspective! Thank you much!
Thank you! It's helpful to see the layering looks you've don't as inspo! To be honest, it's hard to find clothing that checks all the boxes and is still cute. I sew, but I don't want to sew everything--it's so much easier to buy!

Great tip on the mini skirt. I just bought a shirt dress online which I later realised is a bit see-through. I'll definitely implement this mini skirt tip.
I love working out with leggings and shorts on top I feel so much comfortable and confident now days all those leggings are See-through and you can see everything inside 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
I'm so obsessed with those umbrellas! I took this photo on umrah last year and always wanted to have it enlarged and framed. I am pretty proud of it, so thank you for noticing :-)
Thank you so much for these ideas! 💖 I needed some inspiration and found your video through a search 💛 your first demonstration blew me away 🤯 dressing modestly is important to me (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) and you gave me so many ideas!
Hi Wendy! I love that idea, and will definitely look into it. This Tuesday I'm sharing another useful one; styling one maxi skirt 10 ways. I hope you'll enjoy it!
I'm so glad, and you're only too welcome hun! New video drops on Tuesday where I style one skirt 10 different ways so I hope you hit the bell icon to get notified! It's gonna be a good one :-)
Hi hun! Thank you! It's not a dress it's a blouse I got from H&M last year, so I doubt it will be in stock. However, you should go into their stores anyway, they always have good high-neck blouses.
Saying that a mini skirt can be modest is like saying that the roman catholic church is holy, or that ice cream is made to be exceeding hot and will burn one’s tongue
John chapter 3verse 16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life
I'm honestly curious about dressing "modest". It confuses me because you're still showing the shape of your body, just covering more skin.... I thought the point was to hide the body?
Modest is just a word so it has a different meaning for everybody depending on how/where you were raised and personal beliefs 😄 and the point is also different depending on why you are doing it, for some it’s religion, for others it’s culture, some just feel more comfortable I was raised in a culture that does not value modesty in clothes very much, so I see long sleeves and long skirts as very modest for example
But see that’s the thing! Modest doesn’t just mean covering up! But if you’re wearing things that draw too attention to yourself then it’s probably not modest! The dress while very beautiful was not a modest dress in my opinion! The big pant was pretty but not modest!
niecybaby1960 hi! I usually make a little disclaimer at the beginning of each modest video to remind women that different women have their own interpretation of what modesty means to them because every religion and personal preference is different. For example Muslim women are allowed to wear pants but are meant to cover their hair. Some Christians are super strict about only wearing skirts/dresses and not allowed to wear pants AT ALL, yet they can show their hair. This video isn’t here to discuss what’s modest “enough” or who’s right but rather to offer general help to women covering up and who like to look good too. Inclusive of everyone, to the judgement of no one. You and I have different interpretations of modesty and that’s really okay ♥️♥️♥️ sending you love and light! Xx
hai, im amie from malaysia, if you dont mind if im asking, are your heritage is malay? coz as far as I know, there is a lot malay heritage at cape town and u do look a lot like malay or Southern East Asian... im so sorry if my question is offensive..
Hi Amie! Don't worry it's not offensive at all. You're right, there is lots of Malay heritage here and it's definitely a big part of why I look this way (my grandfather used to look VERY Malaysian and I definitely have his eyes!), and I have Turkish ancestry too, and I also look very similar to my Turkish family. I'm verrrrry mixed, so many of us are here in SA, there's definitely both black and white in my blood line too!
@@FashionBreedVideos thank you so much for answering, im really appreciate it, wish u all the best a head and guess what im your new fan both youtube and instagram, i love your work i bet if you're in malaysia you'll be love by our sister in here.
