I made a these but I used my own measurements! I used the same amount of butter, a whole pack of large marshmallows and about 6 cups of rice crispies! I let them sit in the heat as I mixed them and they came out perfect! I’m an 11 year old who loves to bake and make treats and this was a great treat to make 😁❤️
Omg I just made these and they are incredible. Super easy. I never made rice krispie treats as a kid so this was super exciting. Will never buy from the store again. Thank you 😻
I have never made or tasted a homemade Rice Krispie Treat. I have eaten the ready made ones from the supermarket. I will never buy them again! OMG....this recipe is amazing! They turned out so delicious! Thank you for sharing Sam!
I just made these and they are amazing. I’m going to sell them at my fundraising event. The first batch I over cooked and over packed but they still turned out good. The second batch was perfect and fluffy. I could still see my second batch of mini marshmallows and my sprinkles didn’t discolor the marshmallows either. Very tasty as well and I used regular salted butter.
You seriously make everything look so delicious and easy to cook. I'm already wanting to make the ziti, stuffed shells, artichoke dip... and I'm not a cooking type person at all. Thanks for getting me excited about cooking Sam!
I've made these a few times and they're super tasty, fluffy, and delicious! A trick I learned as well is to coat your pan entirely in the melted butter (sides and all) so that when you add the rice krispies and marshmallows it won't stick to the sides of the pot!
Perfect for Memorial Day and the 4th of July! These look delicious and so moist. Thanks for the tips, the vanilla, I never thought to use and the wax paper, perfect for cleanup and easy removal! I can't wait to make these! Thanks for sharing! God bless!
I just made them with my 8 year old and followed your recipe I watched lots and your recipe was the best and turned out really nice everyone loved it at home ❤️best recipe
Hi Sam... Just made these treats for the second time this week. I made them last week and everyone loved them...I dipped the tip in white chocolate and they were so good. I am loving ur recipes...I also made ur peanut brittle recipe today...my plan is to share with family and friends.❤❤❤
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you are enjoying everything. Did your peanut brittle turn out as well? That one can be tricky because candy just likes to be difficult.
They look so great!these are also one of my favorite treats!thanks for sharing 😊everytime i make rice Krispy squares, they always stick to my spatula...so its such a big mess..would you have any suggestions on how to pat the mixture in the pan without them sticking?yours were so neat and clean..thank you Sam
I use a silicone spatula and I never really have a problem with it sticking but maybe I’m just lucky haha. Another option is to run your hands under cold water, shake off the excess water, and then just use your hands to gently pat the Rice Krispies (if they start to stick to your hands, repeat rinsing them). That’s also worked well for me in the past. I hope that helps! :)
Ayo Sam, you're absolutely killin' it, homie. This is litty. Cutting while still warm? Big mood. Big move. You're livin'. I stan so hard. I'm a Sugar Spun Run shill. Will drive traffic. ♥
Could you make this with homemade marshmallows to make it that much extra? Would it be worth the effort or would homemade taste the same with the rice krispies? I am assuming u wouldn’t have to wait for the homemade marshmallows to harden in a trayand can just mix the butter and other ingredients into the marshmallow batter. Thank you
I think homemade marshmallow would work here, and I don’t think you’d have to wait until they harden. Personally I think making homemade marshmallow is a pain. I bet it would taste awesome though! Let me know how it turns out if you try it. 😊😊
About how much Rice Krispie treats will this make like squares because I want to make these for 30 sooo I want to know to be able to make the right amount
This will make about 20 if you cut it into about 2 inch squares. Of course it matters how big you want your Rice Krispies treats to be. I would probably make at least a double batch. These are so good people are going to want more than one. 😉 Enjoy!
Ok thank you I’m in the 8th grade I’m making them for my class they look really good!! I’m going to dip half of them in milk chocolate and top off only the chocolate part with m&m’s and I still will add sprinkles to give the other half color Thanks for the recipe!!!! ♥️♥️

I really want to make these but I have European butter it’s unsalted. That’s what I use in my cookies. Can I add salt? I have some store brand salted butter. Should I use that?
