This is delicious. Since I am vegan I used olive oil instead of butter and it turned out fantastic. have made it several times and everyone just loves it.
I love this tasty Roasted Red Potato recipe! It is a perfect recipe to try when you are learning how to use an Instant Pot. I think this roasted potato recipe is the perfect side dish for almost any meal! What is your favorite healthy potato recipe?
Thanks for posting this. I just bought the cooker and it's amazing. After the look on your face when you tasted it I'll have to try this recipe after work tonight. Thanks again...😁
Thank you for this recipe. Watched a few others and they missed the whole point in "cooking with an instant pot"! If I cook in the instant pot I do NOT want extra steps in then taking the instant pot cook food to the oven or frying pan. I got the pot to make my cooking life easier, quicker and less, well cooking lol! I have mini potato's, will cut them in half so some spices are not thwarted by the skin. Using the Crook Pot and it seems to cook hotter so I will start off with three minutes and let the pressure come down on its own, that should do the trick (fingers crossed). Still very much a newbie to the instant pot.
@@CookingLessonsforDad Miss Karen: these turned out wonderfully well! All 4 of us at our table really enjoyed the flavor! I did substitute chicken broth for the water--I think it added an additional layer of flavor. Keeping this recipe--and thanks again! Leslie
@@shawkitty2524 I am so happy to hear how they turned out and you have a new recipe you like! Adding chicken broth for more flavor sounds extra delicious! Thanks for letting me know how they turned out.
The red potato is a potato. There are lots of types of potatoes. I really like red potatoes. I hope you get to try them. If you do let me know how you like them. Have a great day!
Hi! What size Instant Pot are you using? It seems that every recipe I find is for 6 qt. and I always need to add more water/liquid. Just want to make sure I'm adding enough water. Thanks!
It is good you are adding a little extra water. I think I would like the 8 quart better so the food is not so crowded when sautéing. How do you like it?
I tried this before but the towel collects the steam, and I burned myself. It's the same principle behind not using wet oven mitts. The way she did it with the spoon and keeping her distance is the safest way.
