Somebody gotta say it, I love food too much not to comment. Everything is cooked out of order and improperly. Unnecessary amounts of butter. Wrong cheeses melted into the sauce. Raw alcohol being poured into done pasta and the sauce. Pasta being boiled in oil and then rinsed in cold water. Boiled scallops and lobster in butter with raw onion added in. This is not a dig on Saweetie but she and anyone watching could benefit from a cooking lesson or two in order to get the best value out of your ingredients, especially expensive ingredients like scallops and lobster; you are essentially wasting money if you cook the seafood this way, especially for those of us on a budget! Tips below on best way to make this dish 👇🏽 1. You probably only need half a stick total for this recipe. Sauté the onions and garlic together in the butter and deglaze with the wine to cook the alcohol off and add a layer of flavor. 2. Add the cream and bring to a simmer. Never add the cheese before the cream. Adding cheese to the warm cream will help melt the cheese faster and get a better, less lumpy mess. For the best results for a creamy Alfredo sauce, use grated cheese and whisk. Parmesan and/or Romano is recommended. I wouldn’t use a melty cheese like manchego or Italian blend unless I was doing Mac and cheese or a mornay sauce. Do not just throw blocks of cheese into a skillet and expect it to melt nicely. It will end up clumpy if not done properly. 3. Never add oil to pasta water; it causes your sauces to slide off your noodles. The key to not having your pasta stick together is to stir occasionally while it’s boiling. 4. Never under any circumstance rinse your pasta in cold water. This washes the starch off the noodles which you generally need to thicken your sauces when you add the pasta to them. 5. Scallops are delicate and don’t need a lot of time to cook. They overcook very quickly and become rubbery. Best way to cook a scallop is to season them before cooking and sear them 1-2 mins each side in olive oil, not butter. 6. The lobster should other be steamed or broiled in an oven for best results. 7. Lemon juice is usually added at the end of a dish for the best, most pungent flavor of the lemon to stand out. You don’t need two whole lemons plus artificial lemon juice to add lemon flavor to your dish. A couple of squeezes over the seafood when it’s done before tossing into the pasta and maybe a squeeze over the finished product will do. 8. And of course, season as you go. For a seafood pasta like this, I’d use a creole or old bay seasoning (not both). Both have all the salt you need, and maybe add some garlic powder for those of us who love it. If you follow just any one of these tips, the dish is sure to turn out ten times better. Happy eating!

Her personality is great, but lemons don’t really compliment a cheesy dish like this. It may just be me. I may have to taste it, but regularly, you wouldn’t use that much lemon Bc the acids don’t agree with the cheese.

REPEAT IT WITH ME: DO NOT EVER ADD OLIVE OIL TO NOODLE WATER AND DONT RINSE NOODLES AFTER BOILING THEM!!! Oil will prevent the noodles from sticking to the sauce and by rinsing them you will remove starch, which is essential for the noodles to stick to the sauce Coming from a real Italian

Lord this cooking video had me tweakin. Yeah, she got there at the end but it was hard to watch. Cooked it all in the wrong order. Made it take three times as long and added sticks of butter just to add sticks😂. If you wanted color on your scallops like you said, why boil them in butter only to pour it out and then re-cook them??? Just sauté on high heat with a touch of olive oil. One step and a much better result, not to mention flavor and texture. Wasting time and butter. But she my girl. I’d still smoke a blunt and tear it up, I’m just saying it was confusing as hell. IKDR!!!!

NEVER RINSE YOUR PASTA! Just drain it instead. That starchy coating on your pasta helps it adhere better to sauce and ultimately makes your pasta more thick and rich.
