In this week's polymer clay tutorial and epoxy resin, learn how to make this miniature secret wood cave DIY craft. No woodworking needed. This is inspired by my Secret wood heart tutorial. I made a miniature orca but you can make any other water critter you want.

I like the one that is more open. The one where the orca is surrounded is a touch trapped feeling. But they are both cute.

The one with the orca in the cave looks like it was inspired by Ecco the Dolphin. You find a friendly and wise orca secluded in an underwater cave.

Ah I'm late! Loved this! Orcas are my favorite whales so I'm happy you made something with I've in it. I think the rectangular shape is perfect for the kind of environment you made! It fits better than a square (maybe bigger rectangle mold could be an idea if you don't want to suffer no more). I also love both kinds of environment since to me they give off different vibes: the one with only the side removed makes it look like a super deep secret cave while the one with both the side and corner removed makes it look like the orcs is home. Great job as always!

I liked the more open look, the closed look is a little claustrophobic for such an open water creature for me. I also think I'd like it more in "Secret Rock" than "Secret Wood" but that is just me.

Love the orcas!! tried to make an orca on a wire to just have as a decoration in my flowerpot but tye orcas looked like a threeyearold kid made them and smooshed them for fun.

Top and side removed. I like how you get the extra light coming down from the top in that (slightly unsettling, if I'm honest) way that light comes through water.
