Extremely helpful. I just started riding and going in wide into right turns now I know why and how I can fix it. Also I watched your video on how not to stall your bike and that is long gone for me. Thanks to you 👍

Rich, my 3 technic problems are: 1. Counter steering. 2. Trail braking. 3. Rev matching. I struggle to understand these Technics and have-to nausium-watched video after video after video to try to understand these 3 Technics. It still eludes me and that I find frustrating. Help with guidance to overcome these riding blockages. Doug

We went on a ride today with a Can-Am rider and asked if he know of any three wheel corses. He said that he just do figure 8"s to keep him sharp when riding curves. If I find anyone that have a course, I will definitely let you know.

when driving onto a side street, should you be in 2nd gear?
@BootsandJeansRiders
@BootsandJeansRiders Год назад
Hey Bluezsb...You just match the gear to your speed. When riding at slow speeds I'm usually in 1st gear. If you are going too fast and drop down to 1st gear, the bike will let you know by an abrupt jerk. Then go up to 2nd immediately.

Hello. Greetings from Ireland. We ride left side. My worst thing is right turn i am afraid go on the road my self becausr of it and also i have developed worst fear after dropping bike from pulling away. I start i safely position, left foot day, pre load, friction zone and only rear break holds from moving pulling away. And here were is problem i takes me ages to start moving fear of falling and then all goes wrong so i start nearly wobble till get enough momentum to stable bike. Its so awful that i am almost have quit biking 😢 how i can over come this? As i almost lost my hope. Thought its my bike but its same with all bikes i tried. I passed my compulsory lessons which after all got even worst and i am afraid to go by self. Once i am moving all better still nervous but onces come to stop fear kicks in. So sorry for long coment

What speed is ideal for entering this type of corner? What do you do to correct if you're coming in too hot?
@BootsandJeansRiders
@BootsandJeansRiders 2 года назад
Great question Christopher...The slower the better. I'm turning around 5-8mph. If you enter too hot use more pressure on the rear break and look more to the right (down the road) to where you want to be. and you will guide the bike in that direction. Never look to the oncoming traffic lane. Hope that helps.
