Terrific quick tutorial on spinner rings.. I have used my torch since my grandchildren were born. Going to give one a go today with engraving for my daughter for Mother’s Day. I’ll be back to watch more on the wood rings. Thanks!
Watching this again, as I’m ready to make my ring tomorrow but I had to laugh at the socket (perfect ring bender tool) because when I make spinner or flared cuffs I use my ball hitches😂
Really enjoyed this video -- I took a spinner ring class in person a few weeks ago, but realized I wouldn't be able to do it all at home - you made it look relatively easy - so will give it a try soon! Just need to find out where to do purchase the silver (or whatever options there are). Hope to see more of your ring making!
This is wonderful! Just like every one of your other creations, it turned out amazing. So glad to see you posting videos. As others have said, we definitely missed you! Lol thank you for sharing your awesome skills and creations.
I have a question, why did you hammered the ring after soldering and measuring? I taught that hammering the ring will make it bigger? Will it still fit?
Hi this was fantastic! I have always wanted to make a spinner ring and watching your video i think i have the nerves!!! But questions " Why do you use a sonic machine "?
Hi loved your video, I have been wanting to make a spinner ring for ages please can you tell me what size silver you buy to make it, I do buy from Cookson gold but I seem to order the wrong sheet silver to make those rings, many thanks debs
Just another beautyfull piece mate. Was lookin for your vids. All silver and a very good gift for your woman. I just started layin in some 925 in my rings. Very fun to do
Hi man... Where in world have u been? 🤔 we have missed u on here, so when I saw a bran new zebrano video I smashed the play button so fast lol. Glad to see u back Dan.
Okay I totally want to make one of these now but I have a question when you add the texture to the inside band of the Ring does that not stretch the metal and change the ultimate size where is there a secret that you're doing to make it not do that every time I've tried my ring get stretch to Holy Cannoli and it's not working right but your ring came out beautifully😁
Hey thank you! I made the main ring about 1 US size under the desired finished size so that the hammering kinda stretched it up. I also like to make sure there’s enough to clean up the inside of the ring with emery paper/abrasives/polish 👍🏽
Hey, great video, just wondering about sizing- if you’re adding texture is it better to start with a size smaller so that when hammering the texture in it then stretches the ring to the right size? Whenever I add texture it always seems to make the ring bigger so could see the ring being hard to resize after it’s all finished! Thanks 🙏
So happy to have found your stream and this video - you've inspired me to make this as my second project (stackers today) - quick question, do you size the ring down 1 or 2 sizes, since you hammer it after soldering? I want to make sure mine is a good fit. Thanks so much, Em
Yeah I've made hammered rings in the past and stretched them too much while texturing. Hammering the sheet is a good idea, or make the ring 1/2 a size smaller than needed to compensate for it stretching. Cheers for checking out the video :)
@@ZebranoWoodCraft yeah no worries, thought I would drop some useful advice, I would also if ever soldering more than 1 section of a ring use hard solder until the last joint then you won't have any slip. Awesome work as always though
