Did you use any special paint or finish to protect it against the heat of the radiator?

Finger join primed wood from home depot is the best because won't bend after time

@@PeterMake I just built one. I was scared of the heat causing warping issues on wood. I went with 3/4 MDF board.

small boards less than 1 inch I use pocket hole Jig.Biscuit I use four big boards like the dining table 1 inch 1/2 and up
