Welcome back to the channel Producer Life Family!! Today come watch me cook up and show you How to make smooth jazz samples like Paul Hardcastle from scratch.
Great stuff! Paul Hardcastle is one of the best in the genre. Jazzmasters albums are incredible. There is an SOS interview with him from 99' where he goes in detail on some of his studio gear (and also has a picture of his rack), including: "...the Korg 01R gets used for more ethereal parts. I've also got a Wavestation SR that has a few interesting textural sounds in it....My Emu Morpheus is usually left set to its Vibes patch"
Wish I could like this video a million times! I’ve been listening to Paul Hardcastle and the JazzMasters for a couple of years now. His music definitely soothes the soul. You definitely captured his sound, keep up the good work!
My brother thank you for sharing that, I been driving and bumpin Paul's music and that smooth jazz on my JBL Xtreme 3 everyday, but this track I cannot wait until it release 🎷🎷🎶🎶💯💯
Great track. Paul is definitely one of my favorite jazz artists thanks to my pops for putting me on to him back in 95. Are you selling a drum kit including that snare at all ? I will purchase immediately.
The sound you used for the pad is the same sound from the theme for Konami. (Game designer company. Metal Gear Solid)… there’s actually a few JD800 sounds you can hear in MGS)
Can you make a old Wu tang kinda beat or mobb deep ( survival of the fittest ) . I know its a sample but love to see how you can play that yourself and make it sound gritty. The way song start with that piano (sample) in survival of the fittest is so cold. But do t want to use a sample but make 1 yourswlf
I have a beat that i think would be dope to slightly remake . its called "touch of soul" by the jacka .. That'd be dope if you can remake and remix it than upload it
It depends, Latin Urban has got some low key realistic sax sounds, same as Sax Lab, the variations & air push feel will give you close to 100% real life feel trust me.
Can you plz make a real jazz sample ? You know with the brushes and i believe a 1-2-3 beat ? Standing bass , piano. That old 50s kinds jazz. Or blues , that BB king type
