Hi, thank you for reaching out. Making social stories in school would be similar and all you need is a computer to create the document where you can include your visuals in and a printer to print it out. Should either of which is unavailable, there are alternatives such as drawing the visuals out by hand or using Social Story creator apps that can be found easily on our devices app store. We hope that this is helpful. Should you require further support, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at enquiries@autismmalaysia.com and our team will be able to get in touch with you. Thank you.

having nice hands is traumatic for autistic people, since it forces them to suppress stimming. (how about stim toys?) Stimming is vital for autistics. We regulate like that. And I don't see where it would disturb other people so much that it outweighs the costs the child would have to pay. And instead of just the child having to cover their ears for a whole flight (wtf who will think it's okay to have their arms raised for hours??) the parents could just get the kid good noise cancelling headphones. I find the idea of breaking things down into steps very good, since autistics can really struggle when they don't have a plan and we need structure. However I see a huge gap of knowledge here.
