FYI to hook this up you have to use a stereo breakout cable AKA a y-cable that is 1/4" trs male on one end (to plug into zoom output) and 2 separate jacks on the other end (for the inputs of your interface or mixer).
It CAN do stereo! All it takes is a TRS 1/4" stereo cable. Either straight through or broken out Into 2 mono outputs. Also headphones plugged in do produce stereo sound.
Great advice... I myself use the PP Delay set very low on the Time parameter (40 or 50) and F.B. set at 30, mix at 50 or 60 and it gives a huge wall of sound effect, especially when using headphones!
Super handy. Also. Do you know if there is a list for which Effects are specifically stereo? I read somewhere that the Mic option on the Cabinets FX actually add an element of Stereo.
I don't know if there is one or not, but that's something that should exist for sure! I had not heard that with the mics! I wonder if it just adds some "room" sound or something else.
How do you actually get stereo out of the thing though is my issue? Stereo 1/4" cables aren't super common, but I'm assuming it does have a proper stereo out?

Sure can! It has a few modes of operation. You can either switch presets. Or you can cycle through individual “pedals” and be able to turn pedals on or off individually. It’s really versatile.

Hello. I have my g1 four plugged into focusrite and I tried to record in audacity but it records everything on mono. When I playback my recording it only plays on 1 side of the headphones. Do you know how can I fixed this?
Be sure that you are using a TRS Y cable out of the zoom- like this: a.co/d/bZzvzVv - then plug both sides of the y cable into the focusrite and ensure audacity is set to record both channels as a stereo channel. Hope that helps!
@@GlennThomasTech thanks a lot. 😁 My interface only have 1 input XLR and another for instrument, it's a focusrite solo. I guess I need to change to another interface with 2 instrument inputs
Or another option that may be more budget friendly (if your not really needing a different interface overall) is a direct box like this a.co/d/garOFqf (not affiliate links) A direct box would allow you to use that interface for a bit more! Either way is a good way to go. It’s a great time to be buying interfaces! Such good options!
Some of the effects have it in their name which is convenient, but with others it’s kinda trial and error. Reverbs are generally stereo. Some delays and modulations as well. I looked into the manual, and didn’t see any sort of a list that notes which are stereo. 🤷🏻♂️ Sorry that’s all the info I have! Hope that helps!
Sounds great Im sure others would love that too. That is about right on the money. Hell in fact I made a Skid Row Patch. After looking at what gear they use. I was just guessing about. I think I got pretty close. I only say that because Im a relatively newbie at tone and messing with settings.
Or just run the processor through an effects loop turning of the cabs if used with an amplifier. Or run straight into a P.A. cabs off if so desired. Hmm ? 🤔
