So many video's on YT with stromboli recipes. This is the one. This is what should go in a stromboli. Nothing beats the combination of the tomato sauce with the italian meats and the mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Perfect.
Omg so good I made this! I added garlic powder to the dough after I rolled it. Then added pizza sauce then added Italian seasoning to the sauce. Then added cooked italian sausage and pepperoni and cheese. Then rolled it up like you did! Then added more garlic powder on the dough and cut it like you did and added the egg wash then shredded cheese! It was a HUGE hit! Thank you so much for sharing! You got a new fan! Gonna keep this recipe!
Thank you for this recipe. I made 2 Stromboli. 1st one is your recipe and the 2nd was our homemade italian sausage sautéed with sweet onions and bell peppers. I also used your recipe for pizza sauce and it was the best then sprinkle mozzarella cheese. My husband said I should make it for his parents coz it was so good. One of his favorites now. Thank you so much 😊
I love everything about the structure and format of your video including the ingredients and instruction within the Bio! You are awesome in providing an easy to follow and great experience to your viewers!
I've made a lot of great recipes from youtube videos. This is the best, by far. Comes out perfect every time. I add my own fillings but holy crap that dough is perfect for stromboli.
Wow !!! I really love it ❤️👍 very straight forward how you explained and looks very easy to make. I will make this for my family this coming weekend. THANKS FOR SHARING ❤️👍👍👍
Wow, this is the perfect video. Right to the point, friendly but without much fluff. Demonstrating with real technique that we can follow, and a recap at the end. Good stuff!
Recipe in metric for anyone wondering 177 mL warm water 12 g sugar 10 g instant yeast 3 g salt 210 g flour Set to 205°C Pizza sauce, not sure how much, however, I’d assume about 750 g-1 kg Sliced meats
my God in heaven you make it look so easy I am going to do this when I get home and I will check back later and let you know how it went I need to make at least six of these for church Sunday any tips on how to keep these hot and crispy
I bake mine without the sauce and instead dip the bread in marinara. Fresh mozzarella and fresh parm is always better and a few basil leaves adds a great kick of flavor. Other than that the bread and choice of meats are great!
I know this is a four year old video but I wanted to thank you for this recipe. I just made if for company and everyone loved it. It really reminds me of what we used to get in restaurants back when we ivied in New Jersey. I also made one with spinach and cheese and that was a big hit. Thanks so much.
I love videos like this that just get right into it. I can't wait to try and make (And fail the first few times let's be honest) a nice stromboli. Doesn't seem as hard as I first thought it would be so I'll have to try this soon
I buy my pizza dough at the grocery store because I don't want to go through the process of making pizza dough. I simply roll it out on a baking pan lined with fol. I don't just make pizza Strombolis I also make all kinds of hot sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches to! I add lots of sauce and spread my ingredients all the way to the edge and don't mind them oozing out. I don't like the edges to be too bready. After rolling it I brush it with butter for that nice golden brown crust and sprinkle t with cheese an or seasoning. All this takes about 15 to 20 mins. from beginning to end! Dipping sauce is not really needed because WOW they are so good when I add my secret sauce inside!
I'm from Philly, birthplace of the Stromboli. You got it right on with the meats, but I'd tear up that Italian ham for a better chew. Traditionally, a Stromboli was made with bread dough, not pizza dough, so if you're making your own, you can modify the recipe without much hassle... if you want. I'd recommend staying away from shredded cheese as they use chemicals to keep it from clumping. Big chunks of mozzarella are just fun anyways!
I know how to make strombolis since I worked at dominos once, but its 4 am and I want one because i have the munchies so i had to watch one instead.... That actually reminds me, I know how to make a lot of good food from dominos that I've never made since I worked there.
The amount of flour you need in bread making always varies, and can change significantly based on the weather and even how accurately you measure you ingredients.
This is the first thing that I try to make that I have done really bad, my dough was super sticky I added more flour but it was hard to fold, the sauce and meats were coming out lol
