SDS does influence the market right now, some things can’t be posted with high prices because it’s above the average market value. So when equipment and player cards are going up in value it has to be but a very small margin at a time. Hopefully that will change but I found this out tonight when I tried to post a set of diamond cleats that nobody had listed

If you get those XP reward golds early, sell them. They continue to be added throughout each tier meaning they will be very cheap eventually

What I did in MLB 17 was getting enough stubs to buy 100 packs and then sell the copies by using the market. That really works

Created player collection is another way, considering you have a lot of the cheaper teams completed that already have "no sell" cards locked in. I think I got 20k stubs just by doing all of those.

Heath Goetsch dang that’s crazy I’ve been doing buy/sell orders and I got up to about 30k stubs by just selling silvers and bronze cards and got a couple diamonds for cheaper than the regular price. Might want to start doing it so your not wasting hundreds of dollars like these streamers.

Tommy Arredondo $100 for the digital deluxe game and then $200 for 300k in stubs. I get what you’re saying, but I’m fine paying a bit like that, rather than grinding for a little at a time. I look at it like my flight simulator. I’m paying extra because it’s a sim with attention to detail. I’ll call it “sim tax” and I’m alright with it.

I haven’t spent any money other than the $80 version. And I spent hours building my dynasty team. It sickens me literally everyone you almost plays already, Has everyone ranked 84or higher on their team from buying stubs. Spending money on points takes the fun out of the game to me imo. When it first came out, I was winning ranked matches. Now I’m playing against all star batting lineups. I just started a franchise mode today. I’ll probably just be playing that instead. Just like other show games. Flipping cards takes forever. I really wish the show would get rid of buying stubs for a certain dynasty league. Call it dynasty gold or something. And keep regular dynasty for rookies where you can buy stubs. I also held onto some classic legends and their rookie cards. Hoping when the game comes out for everyone, this will probably be the best time to sell players. I have a few really good legends I’m sitting on. Biggio’s rookie card for example. Stanton has been trash for me too. I may sell him. Possibly even Kluber.

I recommend selling all silvers now because they are so high priced right now. Also going through the market and see what bronzes are selling for a lot and see if you have them and just sell them cause... who uses bronzes

Im new to mlb, the only thing im stuggling with is hitting. Its more when the pitch is right outside the strike zone. Im playing rrts and my contacts a 40. Does it take time or am i doing something wrong.

So, what are you struggling with exactly? Are you missing those pitches or hitting them weakly? Actually either way, you just need to try and stay off pithces outside the strike zone. Be more disciplined, however, that's ofcourse more easier said than done. The only pitches outside of the strike I sometimes have some success with are pitches just outside the strike zone, so pitches that still touch the strike zone line, and low pitches outside of the strike zone. For some reason those are easier for me to hit than pitches at other locations outside the strike zone. However, I have to admit that it also results in easy groundouts more often than not.

I wish you wouldn't tell people about this, makes it more difficult for people capable of figuring this stuff out on their own. If this gets more popular, SDS may end up putting temp. holds before you can sell on anything purchased in the community market.

I think MLB the Show should stop allowing people to purchase stubs in Diamond Dynasty for the simple fact that it messes up the competition because somebody wants to grind out and earn their cards but then the next guy has 19 Diamond cards it's just my opinion it just takes out the fun of the game that's why I stopped playing it I earned Judge Turner and Longoria diamond... and the rest bronze silver and a few gold I rather earn my cards then spent $200 on stubs and get 19,000 Diamond cards
