Please note that this and many of our other Videos were made before the Corona Lockdown- hence my assistant is near me and not 2 metres away - so dont think I am not doing the right thing. I now do most of my videos as Self videoing projects.

Peter Chan is the most wholesome man alive. We must protect him at all costs.

I laughed out loud at "I have to teach myself patience because I tend to work too fast." I appreciate Peter's humility - his "work" spans decades, though I also get that in the moment he may still move too quickly. But for an experienced bonsai master to lament their impatience is, for the rest of us, the best reminder.

It is so beautiful to take a dead tree and give it life again... I almost cried with joy... it is reborn

Only downfall with watching this genius is that you run to nursery and spend money on all sorts of bushes. He is great watching for sure. Thank you

I live a very rural life and even gather wood to heat my home in winter. My brother laughs when we are out in the mountains gathering firewood and sometimes 20% of what I gather is "too beautiful" too burn. Now I have an idea what might be done with so much decorative pieces in my yard !

That background about the concept of tanuki was so much needed.

Thank you to your cameraman! He made a very good job. Specially the closeups are very teachful. I love and respect that you don't hurry. In the "modern times" we have, everybody is in a rush, not noticing that the more you rush the quicker your life will end. People, spend more slowtime with things you like and love, the end comes fast!

I've been watching Peter for about a year now and I think your videos will be archived forever. You make bonsai less complicated and very user friendly! Thank you!

Peter Chan’s trees never die. They are just “missing in action”.
