Today on Booze On The Rocks we show you How To Make The Amaretto Sour. This is the Morgenthaler version. Its well balanced with great body and you get an excellent foam head. Try it, tell me what you think. Slap that like Button while your at it. Do you have a recipe that you want me to make?
Amaretto Sour
1.5 oz/45 ml amaretto
.75 oz/22.5 ml cask-proof bourbon
1 oz/30 ml lemon juice
1 tsp/5 ml 2:1 simple syrup
.50 oz/15 ml egg white,
Reverse Shake
10 seconds with cracked ice
10 seconds with out ice
Garnish Lemon Peel

My apologies I am a little embarrassed . I seem to have had a few issues with my closeups. I stayed up way to late getting this one ready. My bad. But its still a great drink!! I really like this cocktail. Tell me what you think.

totally agree..the Morgenthaler's method is the best method for an icredible Amaretto Sour...it's what i do for many years at my bar. everybody loves it! ;) i do it with 45 ml. Amaretto Di Saronno and 15 ml. of Jim Bim's white label bourbon. i also add 3 drops of angostura bitters..because we love angostura bitters!! ;)

Great recipe for the Amaretto Sour! Really refreshing. I find that lemon juice balances the sweetness of the Amaretto 🥃 and well it’s always gonna be better with Bourbon ;-)

Mr. David, sorry to bother you again. I've brought the ingredients to make this drink tonight. Im going to make two drinks at a time. So double the ingredients. Would one egg white be enough?

Good question. That would depend on the the size of the egg. If it is a large egg or extra large yes. If it is small or medium use two.
