Yes, it’s probably like $1 plus the oil as opposed to $5. They taste better. Tip if you buy bagged tortilla chip put in 400 degree over for a few minutes to releaease oil and they almost taste homemade
Just wanted to say how awesome your channel is!!! Am not a big social media person let alone comment on anything. But I had to let you know that being Mexican and not knowing how to cook, your channel makes it easier. I call my mom for recipes but she talks to me as if am a cook and you know she doesn’t use measurements. Many of your recipes are like hers so it makes it easy. I’ve tried other channels but your channel is easy to follow, short and they taste just like my moms cooking. Just wanted to say great job! We need more Mexicans/ Mexican Americans doing great on RU-vid!!!

Hola Claudia! I first watched your "Frijoles de la olla," video and now this recipe for Chile Verde Nachos. You have convinced me that I need an Instant Pot to go along with my Ninja Cooking System machines because your recipes have made me so hungry. Mexican food preparation is labor intensive but the results are a gastronomic home run. So maybe today I will buy my Instant Pot and the ingredients to make the frijoles de olla, then refry them to put on my Nachos de Chile Verde, using your recipes! I didn't understand why everyone was making a big deal about instant pots but got one to help me make chicken for my hubbys lunches. I love mine so much now that I'm shopping for another one because then I can cook multiple amazing things at the same time! Give yourself time to figure it out and you'll love it! And, amazon has great accessories that make using it even better. You can stack things in other pots inside and make your rice and meat at the same time or other things like that!
Claudia, some the best chile Verde I've had was some that I made. I used pork rib tips from Costco cut into pcs. With the bones it added so much flavor 😋. I think one of the biggest mistakes people makes is using too lean of pork thinking that they are doing you a favor by using something lean😕. Try it you won't be disappointed 😌

You know the taste test is super biased right. Everyone there knows how good it is, a chef will always say its the best and all of us can't taste anything. Even if we make it, you're not the cook of our batch. You can have 5 people cook the same recipe and 1 tastes the way it should. The best part? Yea, for you!

Where did you get the rack for the stove-top?? I always have to do mine in the broiler but would live to have something like that so I can keep a closer eye on them 😊
I wish restaurants would stew the meat in the salsa verde. So good! But they can't. Some folks don't like the spice. So you have to apply the salsa verde over the non spiced meat. It is just not the same.
