@@JahisLovePsalms I used the spray bottle that came with my air fryer and it works good. It's just a pump sprayer. I also used it to spray Olive oil on the bottom of a frozen pizza before putting in the oven. That worked good too!
You make me happy to be a mexican american, my nana is from Sonora and my mom cooks just like her growing up this was my favorite, it was my birthday meal every year. My family cooks just like your family and all the receipes are almost the same. I feel really proud that you are on utube representing our style of cooking. Delicious! Made these for our Christmas party and everyone LOVED them! Thank you :) Made the chili powder the day before. Then before folks arrived made the enchiladas. The house smelled amazing. Great rich chili flavor! Way way better than store bought cans of sauce. It is really a very quick and easy recipe. Anyone could make this!!! 🎉
My Mother used a “chili gravy” and that is what we use. It is a roux, seasoned with chili powder. Cumin. Garlic. Onion and salt. It is amazing. Knorr chicken, beef and tomato boullion is the best.
No Cumin in Sonoran style enchiladas sauce a big No No, that’s a Tex Mex & New Mexico thing. And no onion, adding onion spoils the chili sauce faster garlic conserves it longer. Adding some oregano not too much enhances flavor too
Don’t use ground guajillo instead use: 10-12 Chili Guajillo Pods boil in water till soft In blender add the chili guajillos, 5-7 garlic cloves, teaspoon of oregano Knorr chicken or beef or tomato bouillon to your liking and salt to your liking add I cup water where you boiled the chili guajillo and blend. If too think add a little more water. In a saucepan add about 1/3 cup canola or vegetable oil add the chili mixture after the oil is heated and cook on medium to low heat for about 20-30 min. You should have the best Sonoran Style enchilada red sauce ever!

This enchilada sauce is the BOMB! I fixed it today and evey one raved about my enchiladas. I also fixed your cilantro lime rice and the flan. Had issues melting the sugar but the flan was great. Raves all around. Thanks for the recipes. I'll be trying more.
