The minute you start to reminisce about your memories with your parents I get so teary-eyed. Now that mine are gone for 12 years now, all I have are the memories 😢😢😢
My husband used to make a cooked fudge that was kind of grainy. I didn’t care for it. I like the creamy kind. I used to make it with marshmallow cream but haven’t in ages. Thanks for sharing.
I be love home made gifts. Especially for busy friends, older friends or anyone who doesn’t have the time or ability to prepare things anymore. I made Apple Butter and Spice Tea Mix last year for my neighbors. It was fun to make and fun to give. They had a hot cup of tea for the rest of the Winter. Maybe it will be fudge this year.
Oh! My, I saw the children on the, TV last night, there pregnant, how wonderful, I busted in to tears, with joy, congratulate the for me, please, God has blessed you, sincerely Tammiejo, it's a jump out of sin, type moment, for your family at bay, haha, with great joy
That seems quick and easy. Just waiting for it to cool down is the hard part. I'm glad to see Matt liking it. When you first mentioned the black walnuts he runnoft. 😅
I am like Granny I make fudge the same way. My grandmother taught me to make it 50+ years ago in an iron skillet with sugar, evaporated milk, butter, cocoa And vanilla flavoring. I remember her beating it up in that Old iron skillet until it was glossy. She also added a Hershey candy bar.. It never was grainy and nether is mine It’s just delicious. I have made the recipe that you make also. I like it too if I’m in a hurry, butI still love the old-fashion way of making it. I also love the creamsicle fudge peanut butter is my favorite especially the peanut butter roll made with a potato.😊
Oh, this looks so good. My daughter loves to make maple walnut for the trashman, the mailman, and her favorite teacher. I'm going to have to show her this. We always make a huge batch along with candied pecans for the holidays.
Tipper used to make 50 lbs of fudge at Thanksgiving time for Husband & Father in Law it was DEER Hunting time for them !!! They would eat all of it and I would make more of it for the Thanksgiving time then !!! My kitchen was small but I got a lot of food made in that little place !!! Stored it along the steps in the basement with tupperware as my containers !!! Had to save on up on sugar & milk for it also !!! They loved the fudge !!! Son now has my fudge pot that Father & Mother in Law gave to us for a Christmas Gift so it is 3 generations now in this family !!!
Oh, I remember my mother beating fudge, but it was still always little grainy- I loved it! My husband’s uncle always made the marshmallow fluff fudge for everyone at Christmas.
My mom also uses the recipe from the back of the Fluff jar, and has for YEARS. I love it when it’s grainy, or gritty as I call it. I would choose my mom’s fudge over the kind they sell at the beach any day! ❤
Last Christmas I made this recipe and they loved it, my son dropped a piece of it in his coffee and say it was delicious that way. I’ll have to try it this year since it was gone in a flash.
This sounds like a recipe thats easy enough for me to make! I'm gonna give it a try Tipper. Thank you... I love Black Walnuts to and I just happen to have some my Granddaughter picked up off the ground some time ago and they're good and dried now! My Grandson will crack them for me. Yummy! I love a good creamy fudge thats not to sweet! There's a recipe made with frosting thats easy but it way to sweet for me! Its made with P-nut Butter! God Bless. 🙏❤👏
I haven't had fudge in years. I saw this in your cookbook, which is wonderful, by the way, and now I'm convinced I could make this for Christmas. Thank you for the demonstration. God bless ❤
I use the very same receipe only adding a dash of salt. No fail fudge is what I call mine. I also like it because it only takes about 5 minutes to make. Enjoy your channel. Been watching about 3 months now watching your daughter’s channel as well.
Tipper, I love the Christmas dishes you have set out. It brings Christmas decorations into your kitchen and makes it mire festive. Miss Cindy picked out a lovely set for you & Matt. The fudge recipe looked quick & easy, I would probably use pecans or English walnuts when making it.
This recipe looks real tasty and creamy. Mother always made Pecan fudge with marshmallow cream and then a platter of Peanut Butter Fudge. One of my favorite childhood memories. I sure miss my Mother. ❤️✝️🙏
I use sweetened condensed milk when I make snow cream. Mixes in so much better than sugar. Now we just need some snow. I’m like you Tipper, I’ve been known to clean the can out with my finger. So good 😉
We always poured some coffee in the can and stirred it good .what a treat. You can do the same with the fudge bowl😊 Gram said during the Great Depression her mom did this. You wasted nothing especially sweets.
I also make coconut pecan. You only need 1 coconut pecan frosting 1 bag white chocolate chips. Melt together in microwave stir pour in pan let cool enjoy. I love coconut!
This is good fudge especially when you don't have alot of time. Unfortunately, I taught my children the real deal versus the real easy ones. To this day, they request the "REAL DEAL"😂 I've been waiting patiently for me to get in that "babysitting" mood at the stove. Thank you God for all these lovely teachers and their sharing recipes. God Bless y'all ❤
Hello Tipper! From the great state of Alaska , we live very rural , and we share so many things in common but in opposite sides of USA , Hubby and I love your videos and your family ❤ Happy holidays from my family to yours ps : your going to LOVE being a grandmother , there’s nothing like it ❤ Dana
I bought your cookbook and "lent" it to momma to look at. That was months ago and she still has the book! She loved reading through it and has made the sausage soup a couple of times. I'll be making this fudge soon.
Every Christmas my mom would send us to the basement to crack black walnuts for fudge. She would use the recipe off the Hershey container. It was the best.
I bought the chips and milk today. A friend gave me a bottle of Mexican Vanilla so this will be my first using it. My son-in-law likes pecans the best so I’ll use those. He loves chocolate and his birthday party is Saturday. Excited to make this.
My sister-in-law made the best fudge and I watched her one time and it looked to complicated for me. If I ever make fudge it would be this one. Thank you for sharing.
Fudge recipe appealed to me, so I paused Tipper's video to quickly melt dark chocolate chips on a graham cracker; that did something extra for my pleasure and enjoyment of this praiseworthy Fudge tutorial 💛
I can tember my mom making fudge. I think it eas just about this easy too.. God bless.. Congratulations on Katie and Austin. It will be so much better for both babies to grow up togeter.. ❤
I made this last week and it was delicious. I used about 70% semi sweet and 30% dark chocolate and it turned out great. Pro baker tip…spray pam in your dish prior to putting the wax paper in and it will help it conform to the pan better. Thanks for sharing and forcing me to open your book again :)
That recipe looks easy. I have a recipe from the 1950's for Flora's fudge. She was one of the faeries from Sleeping Beauty. I like sweetened condensed milk in coffee as a sweet treat. Yum 😋
Looks good and easy. Tipper, I’ve got to tell you that yesterday it was rainy/snowy here in Ohio and I put on a big pot of vegetable soup. I’ve been wanting to try the rolls you all rave about, but with oatmeal in them I was kind of unsure but thought it would be a good day to give the recipe a try. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Those are some of the best things I’ve ever made! It is a favorite of mine now. So light and fluffy and tastes so good! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Tipper! I've been thinking of how to show thanks to a parent of my son's friend. This is so much more thoughtful and personal than anything I had come up with, and I love how easy it is to whip up! YAY FUDGE!!!
My grandma always made old fashioned fudge at Christmas. I loved her dearly, but her fudge was terrible. It was like eating a hunk of chocolate flavored sandstone. I swear you could use it for refinishing furniture. My mom and I always use the Fluff, "Never Fail Fudge" recipe and it has never let us down!
It is really easy to fix, you just need to add a tablespoon or so of corn syrup. You just need another type of sugar in the mix to prevent the crystals. Learned all about the chemistry of sugar crystals and how to prevent them from Alton Brown. @@ritasmith9553
