Some things to make this tutorial even better: 1. Instead of making backface culling by yourself, you can use Mcblend 2. Instead of mixing two shaders to achieve translusecncy, you could just add transmission in Principled BSDF (This speeds up the process of applying the effect on multiple materials) Also, SSS is also a good thing, so you can add it aswell
I really need to use the chunk separation render method. Make the world into chunks of 16x16, then only render the frames I need. Might be a hassle, but might help a bit.

Hey, since it's a pretty simple node setup, I didn't upload it, and also there is an issue with profiting from sharing Minecraft assets (in this case leaves and overall the map). But still, do you want me to upload a Blender file with that node setup and without a map?
