Welcome back to the channel! I love a treat every now and again but I still try to sneak in some nutrients if I can. These are made with black beans and olive oil and they hit the spot perfectly. The weekends coming up so give these fudgy chocolate and raspberry brownies a go, you won't regret it 😋
Really enjoy your natural and friendly presentation. So many RU-vidrs seem like they are acting. With you, kind of like being a guest or friend in your kitchen. Regarding the brownie recipe, do you think substituting flaxseed egg or apple sauce for the oil would allow it to have the equivalent moistness? Thanks again for the great videos!
Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words, I truly appreciate them. I really try not to put on a fake personality in front of the camera which can be difficult sometimes 😬 Regarding the oil I think those options should both work, maybe increase the quantity of plant-milk as well :)
Tx for the recipe - will have a try. Great tip about the dried fruit instead of dates - will do a cost comparison. I enjoy the odd fridge tart (it gets hot here) - I'm using half oat flour & biscuits as the base (economical & slightly healthier) and making other adjustments. I'm doing this whenever a recipe calls for flour. I'm also adding potato to some recipes (eg potato bread, potato savoury shortcrust pastry etc). Going plant based doesn't mean going without - do what you can when you can with what you got.
You're welcome! Dates can be really expensive compared to raisins at least in the UK. I'm not sure I've ever had a fridge tart so will have to give it a go. I like the idea of a potato savoury shortcrust pastry, thanks for the ideas 😀
@@EarthyGoodnessKitchen Okay, then you HAVE TO try peppermint crisp tart (a firm favourite in my country!). This recipe is non plant-based, but easily adapted - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vw6ZzqdHl0Y.html
I came across your channel. Found your vegan recipes intriguing. Decide to subscribe. But I'm curious about " whole meal flour". What exactly is it? USA here. Thanks. Great presentation. 👏👏👏
Thank you for subscribing! Wholemeal flour is the same as whole wheat flour-it includes all parts of the grain, making it more nutritious and nutty. Hope that helps! 😊
