Honestly, I like it when people show how they make stuff like this so the people who don’t have enough money to pay for the premade shirt can have the chance to make their own.
The shirts that people sell like this are sold for around $50 most of the time. Nobody has enough money to buy a shirt for $50 when they can just make their own way cheaper
If you can’t afford $50 for the handcrafted shirt, you won’t be able to afford the supplies/shipping/tax it requires to make the shirt yourself. It’s not cheap to have the supplies on hand, and there are a ton of steps. The more elaborate the shirt or item is, the more skill and labor it takes to make, so you’d be paying for the artist’s expertise and time as well (which is fair and reasonable).
I must've watched this video 100 times. I did this as a tank top with sunset colors (orange, pink, yellow) and instead of black I used purple. It actually came out pretty good! I had never tie dyed before but we bought a kit and did a bunch of shirts. I was nervous but it was fun and we'll actually wear them😂 the tulip dye is just OK, I showed my husband your video and was impressed by the strength of your dye so we'll look into your kits next :)
Can someone please ELI5 why the black doesn’t permeate all the colours and make it a big mess? I’m amazed every time he shows the final product, and it actually has other colours. 😅
Amazing! 🙂💙✨ So, I was thinking about ordering this in long-sleeve, and there’s an option for material type? Does “soft” just mean more of a cotton feel / fabric blend?
It's interesting how some people will draw out the half circle woth string and fold along the lines, and some people just pick a spot and pull, and they usually both end up with perfect circles
was the shirt wet when you folded it and dyed it? the folding is more important than the tension in the banding? what other things have you used to tie the shirt? I was thinking to use dental floss or fishing line. no?
I am confused, this is very common in countries like Nigeria, I am wearing one right now too, why call it HYPERJUMP, its so weird, i did this at primary school , looks good though
