Hi! I'm Jake and welcome to Jake's Tie Dye! I've been selling tie dye since 2018 and loving every minute of it! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed! -Jake
I mean for durable tie dye this is as pastel as it can get! I do tie dye myself and I love very light colours. But after washing them a few times the colour is very soon gone. So far as pastel colours what Jake does is as light as you should go so you can actually see the colours after washing it a few times. It's really annoying that so many people just rudely comment before doing it yourself or just think about it for a minute... 😐
It's difficult to keep anxiety out of art. We're intrinsically trying to convince people to be interested in our work, and to constantly improve that work. I think your insight here is spot on!
Such an important life lesson we all need reminders of. It's great you recognized that! One of my mantras in life: if you don't know the problem you can't find the solution.
Delighted to hear of your insight. Fun, joy and delight is what I get from every garment of Jake's Tie Dye that I own. And wear EVERY day! It makes my heart sing to think that you are getting back to your original joy in making these wonderful creations. Love you! By!
I feel the same way. I don’t make my own product, but I started reselling online during the pandemic when my whole industry was shut down, and I still haven’t stopped. I have become so stressed and worried over time and this video was a very welcome reminder that we’re not meant to live our lives in a state of stress and anxiety. Anyway, I don’t have the answers either, but you’re not alone and thank you so much for sharing ❤
Honestly I love hearing your honesty for the whole thing. You tried a formula that a lot of creators use, didn't like it and let everyone know what you learned from the experience 😁 also I thought the pastel video was funny but I definitely love seeing silly minor conflict like that 😂
Looks amazing but yeah def not pastel, closest to pastel is the purple n even then its not exactly pastel. Do ya just legit not onow what pastel is? Or is this just bait? No hate just genuinely curious, again it does look great
Dude you're awesome... I love that you're not gatekeeping the process like everyone seems to these days, your prices are affordable, and including up to 5x accommodates majority of shoppers (gets kinda frustrating when so many shops stop at petite sizes).... It's also really cool that you make those classic looks that I haven't seen since I was a kid 😊😊😊😊
You sure can. It was apart of a naming contest I held last month! Someone suggested it be named The Starlight and I loved that idea! This design goes from pink in the middle to blue on the edges! Not really accurate to a starry night or stars in general but the name just stuck with me ahaha. My naming process isn’t a hard science 😅
Thank you thank you 😊 I figure that there’s people who want to buy their tie dye shirts and people who want to make their own tie dye shirts! So why not give both options and content ❤️❤️ if they’re interested in tie dye at all, I wanna be there for them!!
It really isnt pastel 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ idk what to tell you. Its not hate, it's just fact. Yes its lighter than YOUR other design, but thats not what makes pastel.
If its a colour that has blue and green and is bright and light, it's turquoise. If it has blue and green and is dark, its usually teal. Obviously there will be different colours depending on the shade or the amount of blue vs green and white vs black there is but the simplest thing to remember is turquoise is light, teal is dark. Both have blue and green. That being said, it is definitely turquoise. Meanwhile the second colour you use on the shirt is teal.
