This drink has an awesome slightly sweet, wonderfully complex tropical taste. I used Gosling's Black Seal Rum, which has a deep, almost rotten banana sweetness. I didn't like the Campari as front and center on the palate at first, but it really grows on you as the pineapple and lime give that acid and tartness, and the simple syrup balances all that bitter and citrus nicely. Easy to shake up and so damned tasty.
Question: does the glass you pour the drink in matter in this case? Since it's a Tiki-style drink, I have heard those cocktails should be served in ceramic cups/glasses to have the best experience. What would you say is the better method?
This depends on your preference. It coimes down to visual effect and experience. That sense of adventure. and theyjusty look cool. The best method is what ever you want!!
