Honestly, everyone just tells me that my job as a student is just study and get good grades so I can achieve whatever I want in the future, but I always found myself struggling to picture a future where I'd be happy if I just did as they said. As an introvert with low self-esteem, those three advices are exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you very much and I hope you guys keep uploading your videos.
My takeaways: 1) Don't fall victim to the Dunning-Kruger effect. Balance your confidence, push for competence. 2) Create things that seem fun or surround yourself with people creating things that sound fun 3) Loneliness goes against human nature. So make some friends. In case you don't know how, read a dale carnegie book.
I agree with the whole video but ESPECIALLY with point no 3. My second year of uni started 5 days ago and because I couldn't really meet anybody on the first day and I had been alone the weekend prior, I felt quite sad and hopeless. But then when actual classes started and I got to speak with people everything shifted from black and white to colourful and I found myself enjoying school once again. All that sadness was replaced with happiness and excitement.
Amazing vídeo! My best advice is to ask for help when you need it. Up until grade 10 I wouldn't ask for help bc I thought that because everyone came to me for help, I couldn't or it didn't feel right for me to ask others for help. When I was struggling in grade 10, stressed and pushing myself too much because of my grades, my friends basically forced me to accept their help and it really helped. Now I push my pride to the corner and ask for help when I need it.
I was in my second to last semester of university and a classmate and I professor told me separately that I needed to learn to ask for help. Till this day I not only ask for help and rely on my teammates at work but I'm open to help others. Working in teams can be challenging but at the same time comforting, you don't have to face the world alone 😅

Aww my heart loved this! We are definitely students of life and it’s relieving and even inspiring to know that :) Congratulations on graduating 🤩🥳🙏 If I would give my younger self advice …I would say: Don’t let the fear of math and science courses stop you from choosing a career that interests you! It’s okay to be scared but just go for it anyways! And work hard at it, dedicate yourself to it because you have what it takes!❤️ Thanks for the good feels and the video , love you guys
u guys truly changed my life I have learned so much on how to study properly. I let go of so much stress because of the tips u guys give and I have so much free time I can use to do thing's other than studying. thank u guys truly so much 💜
Honestly, I wish I could tell my younger self that it’s okay to build relationships and it’s okay to nurture them its what makes you strong not weak or distracted , because it’s what I’m learning rn❤
I myself an introvert had times when I felt lonely 😔 well now I try to communicate with all my classmates. These advices you give are so useful especially thinking that I don’t know anything really makes a lot of difference while learning. Congrats for completing med school 🥳🥳🥳
I had this major realization in 7th grade (yes seventh 🙃) that I kind of preach at this point. So it was results day, mid term and in india u get yo see ur answer sheets that are graded. So I mostly did good in all subjects but I was (am) terrible at Hindi (that sounds so hypocrite) but I am. I am absolutely unable to express myself on papers in hindi (I speak very good though). I got my graded papers back and bam! I had a 57 out of 100 in it. And I'm very anxious individual. I had a panic attack at school, in 7th grade. I thought I was dying of heart attack. So from then on I just keep my health my top most priority and I think everyone should too. I come first.
Thanks, guys, so much!! My dad taught me the " you don't know everything " rule a year ago, and it has seriously helped me so much! Y'all are helping so many people! Thanks! Pride is a growth killer!
One thing I've learnt is to take regular breaks. It was just this exam season when I found out that the reason my exams weren't going as well was because I was working myself so hard I was constantly burning out. Even if you have an end goal that you're looking forward to, take regular breaks and actually get some sleep. Sustaining off caffeine won't work.
The most important thing for my younger self would have to be learning how to study effectively. As a student up to like 9. Grade I never had to study for tests. most of my sbjects came natrualy to me and in 9. I hit a Bump I didnt know how to study my grades were in the gutter and I jusst felt bad in general. Thats about the time I started waching yours and other videos on studying correctly. never thought that would be important to me but here we are. hope you all find your way and grow the same as everyone is trying to in this community
Congratzzzzzz, and thank u for making these vids with your bro. No one has ever teach me to how to actually study properly and I haven't been given it value. Thank u for your content and tips that I will used❤️❤️

6:38 People need to be more understanding with those of us who have insecurities in relationships. We might assume someone isn’t interested because they haven’t texted us in a few days and we might freak out. A good person will gently remind us that we have nothing to worry about instead of cutting us off.
Congrats on graduating, Matty! And thank you for these life lessons man. I don't have anything to say; instead, I want to take note of your life lessons as well! BTW Babyface Matty at 4:13 😊 I would have loved to be friends with you at university!
I appreciate your intelligence. I am socially awkward, yet I have a pretty remarkable record of keeping mutually fruitful relationships. I put my energy where I find value. Even when it at first seems a bit painful even. I like this purple-haired girl from the electronics class. Maybe we can be friends…

Hearing you regretting mistakes so young, and proactively getting after them... Dude you're in the top one percent OF the top one percent I'm guessing, so imagine how the rest of us feel!!🙄
