Homemade cheesecake is easy and everyone will be impressed with this New York Cheesecake Recipe. The secret to a perfect cheesecake is using the water bath method!

CHEESECAKE CRUST INGREDIENTS:
►1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs (from 12 crackers)
►6 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
►1 Tbsp granulated sugar

►2 1/4 lb (4.5 8-oz packages) cream cheese, room temperature
►1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
►6 large eggs, room temperature
►1/4 cup sour cream

Hi i did my cheesecake but i think that the water was not enough in the pan i did the 15 min then the 75 min cooled n the water bath 45 min then fridge but the inside still look a bit soft what was the prob. I said probably not enough water bath

I made this cheese cake for our Thanksgiving dinner this year. It was a huge hit!! It turned out perfect! The only thing I did differently was had 2 tlb. Of sugar to the crust, for a little sweeter crust and used 16 graham crackers instead of 12, so it would be a little thicker crust. I truly appreciate you sharing your recipe, and the information of how to make this cake. It was pure perfection!! I used your recipe for the blueberry sauce for the topping! Yum

Good tutorial! The first time I tried this recipe, I followed it exactly and most of the components came out great - smooth, fluffy consistency, no cracks, good height, good flavor. There were two things I wasn’t satisfied with, first that the filling top turned out darker than pictured; and second, it didn’t taste as tangy as the NY cheesecake I’ve actually had in New York. I’m going to make another one today. I’m going to use a different brand of cream cheese and add a spoon of lemon juice. I have also bought a silicone water bath moat, which is safer and easier to use than wrapping aluminum foil.

I made this recipe a few months ago and it was delicious!! I used McVities digestive biscuits for the base. My boyfriend made the cherry sauce for it but we used frozen cherries as the fresh ones were super expensive. We bought the frozen cherries from Woolworths, for any other Australian viewers who are interested in knowing where to get them:) I bought a slice of baked cheesecake from the Cheesecake Shop a month ago and it was nowhere near as good as Natashas recipe!

I tried this receipe yesterday and its amazing. I had to use digestive biscuits, graham crackers are difficult to find. Only difference was my oven at 225 didn't do the job after 1hr 10 miinutes. I had to increase it to 350 for an additional 30 minutes. It came out PERFECT 👌 Thank you

Each time I look on the web to see if there are any new cheesecake recipes or a recipe I feel may be a better one. I really do search the web and watch a lot of videos. Not one even comes close to yours. Not only is the recipe fantastic, the way your video is made is top notch. Every detail is explained and you don't leave anything out. I’m a cheesecake maker, all flavors & varieties. But hubby just loves it plain so all I did was type in “Perfect Cheesecake”, followed the directions to a “C” and it did not disappoint! This was the prettiest, creamiest, dreamiest cheesecake I’ve ever made!!! One tip tho, I had to bake it in the oven an additional 45 minutes, the center would not have set if not!! But 😋!!!!

Cheesecake and cherry is probably my FAVORITE food pairing. I feel like it’s so underrated. I personally prefer tart cherries, similar to a cherry pie filling. There’s this place called Jason’s Deli that served the most delicious cherry cheesecakes when I was growing up. I always seek out this pairing and have made it at home whenever possible. Just made this a couple nights ago and it came out amazing! My husband said “who needs Cheesecake Factory!” Lol thank you so much 😊 my only problem was my tin foil while name brand was not wide enough. I wrapped the pan 4 times but a little water still got in. Thankfully it didn’t reach the cheesecake

I came to see if this happened to anyone else. My foil wasn't wide enough either and my crust was ruined. It completely stuck to the pan due to being wet. However; it didn't effect the actual cheesecake itself which was perfect and still delicious. I guess I'll have to make another 🤷🏻‍♀️😅☺️

Hi Natasha, Love Love Love your recipes. I made the cheesecake, and it was delicious. The only problem I had was that the Graham cracker crust stuck to the bottom and the pan, and it was a wet consistency. I did the double aluminum foil like you suggested, followed the recipe did not change anything. Keep the videos coming. Thanks for all you do.
