Wow this video is exactly what I was looking for, perfect! I just got my 3D printer today, setting it up as we speak. I want to make star wars helmets (particularly Captain Enoch so your video on that is also amazing) and need a helmet stand. You could possibly just make it out of something larger to make it heavier and more stable.

This looks like a fantastic ideas, I may have to look in to doing this , but thinking I may fond a way to attach something g to the lazy Susan instead. This also makes for a brilliant display stand

I’d considered trying to make the base a lazy Susan but I figured I’d start here and then people can take the idea/concept and customize it to whatever they want. Definitely! I basically make the same thing for display but use a cut piece of closet pole/thicker doweling instead since it’s being made for a specific helmet.
