Did you create the eyebrows from scratch or find a file somewhere to resize? I am about to start painting my sons copy and want to do the best job I can. Not real good at free handing the painting...as my hands shake. Having a template to work from would help. Is it something you can share?
Thank you again. I loved your video. I did exactly as you did and the mask looks amazing. I am just wondering how your mask looks shiny if you did not use the clear coat. I used same paint and looks matte. 😊.
You cannot, this one is more for display - here is a great guide for building a wearable Majora's Mask though - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6GDqTd8W810.html
hi i was wondering if you could make me a hinox from botw to scale for the new link figure? could you also paint it and if possible could you make it articulated? ill pay
This is amazing. I need to make this! U dont happen to have the split remix u guys made for the bigger scale? Would love to make that in the size u used too! 😍
You guys are right, this is easier than it looks. I'm definitely going to try to make my own soon. What's the 3d file you guys used? (the one in description is the wrong one.)
Absoultely! You would need to use a CNC to rout it out of wood. It would be doable if you had the right (expensive) equipment. OR, if you are a really talented person, you could carve this out of block of wood like Bobby Duke over at Bobby Duke Arts did - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2iZmLUHiASI.html
Thanks, so glad you are building your own! We ended up just sketching them out and tracing them in illustrator to fit our paint job - unfortunately we don't have the files saved anywhere.
@@make432 thanks. Got it. I went ahead and looked up a jack - o lantern stencil and used that to get the shapes. Appreciate the response. I’m checking out your videos. All your work is awesome!! Keep them coming
We just split our model inside the slicer program for our printer - we use PrusaSlicer. Even if you are not using a Prusa printer you can use PrusSlicer to slice up your file and export new .Stl files!
Looks like the creator has updated the files - here is a link to the original single piece design we worked off of. www.thingiverse.com/thing:686111 We used the full mask and sliced it half using the built in tools included in PrusaSlicer - here is a great video on how to use that tool ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7Y5PWneYPiQ.html
We split ours in half down the middle vertically, placing the split side down on the printer. Similar to how it's sitting at 00:13 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Io5mR6mKYXg.html Don't forget the skull kid's kinda small though! ;)
using these files www.thingiverse.com/thing:686111 we spilt the mask in half (as seen in the video) and printed at 400% - however there is a new remix on this design that is made to be worn and looks to be an easier, pre-scaled print www.thingiverse.com/thing:2901131
