Looks like fun, and simple to make. I'd like to try it out. I'm always making things. All I need is the non flexible power cable, and strip the cable down to the bare wires. I think the AWG looks fine to me. Sometimes, we lose sight of the fun of making something, by getting too technical. I have stuck a bit of wire similar to that into the socket, and was able to watch the evening news, when birds had damaged my roof antenna so badly, I was only getting a few channels. I do have a new roof antenna as of a couple of years ago. Now I get all the channels..but prior to that one does what one can with what you have, in emergencies.
secretly the real antenna cable is connected.... why don't we see the back ? i've used a plain paper clip as antenna and it works so regardless of my comment i say it works plus *i Like It* 👍

Возможно, что мощность передатчика порядка нескольких киловатт, а ТV приемник от него расположен на расстоянии 500 метров, то достаточно воткнуть в гнездо антенны гвоздь и на экране увидешь картинку хорошего качества. Поэтому, народным умельцам, прежде чем демонстрировать свои антенны, необходимо озвучить хотя бы расстояние от передатчика до приёмника.
This is a total fraud. The antennas lengths are too small for DTV and nobody hooks a ground to a supposed antenna lead. Totally fraudulent. A coat hanger would work better.
Yes, actually an antenna element is connected to a shield. But another element which is exactly the same dimensions is connected to the center conductor. The “antenna” in this video was nothing more than an out of phase dipole with some decoration attached. It won’t have much gain. But it looks pretty. 😆
Decorations? As In: ...... Falsely implying that a Yagi and a Parabolic dish are functional for that frequency. They are not functional for that purpose at all and are just conductors to gather signal. No more functional than replacing them with a simple coat hanger They are only there to get people to say "awww that's cool. I can make one of them." Save your effort. Buy a coat hanger.

It looks really appealing to the eye, but it’s nothing special. Anyhow, a parabolic dish and Yagi will work at those frequencies. However, the driven elements of both need to be cut for the wavelength of those frequencies. The feedpont of both also matters. There’s always two elements to any antenna. Sure, this fellow has what’s shaped like a yagi and a dish attached, but they’re only bonded by one side each. With any antenna, there’s always a radiator, and a counterpoise. Neither are functional without the other in theory or design.
It's a lie, it's not real, the TV back *connections* are not visible... 🙋♂️ It is interesting *that the image* appears immediately with the remote control without setting the channel. 👍 .... the back of the tv is not visible , video *spam and misleading* content , don't believe it 🙏
These are lies. These should be regulated. The value of a channel is lost because of lies. This should be confirmed before publishing. Then it should be published.
These vids could be useful if the builds were based on correct fundamental antenna theory. Unfortunately the creator clearly either has no knowledge whatsoever of basic antenna theory or is deliberately misleading people. Very sad either way. If one is close enough to the transmitter, pretty much any ptece of metal will get you a tv signal.
Я так думаю, что это все вранье... Во-первых, зачем надо было нарезать "вибраторы" почти одинаковой длинны а потом укорачивать их "лесенкой"? Второе, - (специально посмотрел), донышко от банки, даже надетое на медную проволоку - никакой нагрузки и полезного действия не имеет! (Если оно, как экран располагалось бы за стойкой с "вибраторами" - тогда может быть). В третьих, сколько вожусь с телевизорами, - ни на одном не видел антенного входа сбоку!!!
він не вібратори нарізав, а директори - так легше виміряти середину, крім того відстань у директорів має бути різною, а не однаковою, вібраторів там нема ні одного, мідь разом з алюмінієм - є гальванічно не сумісними...

багато вмільців тут в ютубі розраховують на те що не спеціалісти не мають поняття у той чи іншій сфері діяльності, не треба вестись на них і ставити їм галочку для їхніх грошей!
... а антена "волновий канал" - зовсім без рефлетора, одні "директора"... що робить дінце від алюмінієвої банки? рефлектор від супутникової антени? чи це рефлектор від хвильового каналу?
