Also be very careful which CDs you choose. Each CD must have at least one song title on them containing the word sun or solar for this to work properly.
This project is an excellent idea. You should place the panel in the garden where it is clearly visible and then watch the neighbors roll on the ground laughing......
Looks good but already tried it, it produces no power at all. Hell I tried the experiment with Soil, Copper wire and Zinc screws using an ice cube tray and got 6 volts. That was impressive. One thing I find unbelievable is that you are saying that was 220V and managed to power the lights; with no protection or any way to regulate the volts or amps those lights would have exploded the instant you touched the bulb with both wires. Sorry to debunk the video but if you were in fact playing with 220V of un protected wires, then the instant you touched the wires together it would have sent a shockwave through the copper wire cracking if not destroying the CD's within. Not to mention burn your fingers in the process as at one point you fought to pull the wires apart. Those wires would have been close to melting point. Also if you can build your own solar panels and get 220V from one panel, why do you have actual solar panels on your roof.
The solar panels on the roof have already been installed and they also still give off free electricity. I wouldn't take them off if it were me. Maybe he just recently discovered these DVD disc collectors. We don't know that.
It depends on how close to the overhead power lines magnetic flux you are. You don't even need the cds just cardboard tubes with coils of wire. Done in rural areas where I come from but the heavy fines levied from theft outweigh the benefits from free power.
Was ein Schwachsinn. FAKE. 220V+ UND 220V- warum ist auf dem Dach ein PV Anlage? Und nicht alles mi ihren Fake Modulen bestückt, wenn es ja so gut funktioniert. 😂
Freakin Epic, I have GOT to build one of these, I think I still have all my old 90's and 2000 CD's and DVD's and this looks REALLY handy when/if the electrical grid goes offline and everyone is struggling to find POWER, thanks for the video!!!
Dude don’t be so boneheaded you actually believe this is possible? You have to think about it for yourself and not let others leed you around by your ballsak.
Man, dont loose your time! My sugestion is... when you see a Lot of people getting success in a working model replication...then you should try once....
I found that using older vynal records work a lot better. The black surface absorbs more of the suns rays producing much higher voltage output. Also, if you run the current backwards through the record, you can get what is called a "black light" effect.
A whole lot of time, effort and money just to dupe people 😂 the cds serve zero purpose but for holding the copper wires wrapped around them. The copper wire is a great conductor permitting electricity to flow easy from point a to b. Solar panels uses rare earth minerals that when UV lights are present excites the minerals to produce electricity that stores away inside a battery.
I'm so glad I found this. I was going to the store to buy boron, gallium, and phosphorus and now I don't have to. I've got a huge collection of old CDs I don't even listen to anymore. I'll just use them! Thank you. You saved my life.
Я ничего не знаю о КПД этой установки, но в любом случае восхищаюсь терпением автора. Намотать по 46 витков проволоки на пару десятков дисков - это серьезно
is not possible he can not know how to use tester is in the dc volt meter im sure if have a voltage in this coil it is ac voltage and i know no voltage in the coil because you need a magmetic field to produce voltage to coil.
He already demonstrated in this very video, the discs recorded with the Chain Reaction and The Saint (1997) movies yield the best results ...to the moment.
Absolutely brilliant! I've been putting-togther/improvising solar-system for over 40 years, with some pleasing innovations, but would NEVER have arrived at the idea of using CDs. (of which I have several hundred I no longer use!), and here I've stumbled, completely by accident, on your contribution. Thanks!
Yah, this is so stunning, but I wonder if this method can be used to charge a solar or car battery, please help me here, is it possible, I want to invent one in my house, thanks 🙏
If you have 40 years of solar experience then you would know this is absolutely fake. Even if the CD were somehow able to generate a voltage, the bare copper wire is touching itself as it's wound, which would create a short.
This does work. The hard part is mounting about 22-30 of them to you roof. Then buying inverters so you house can use the the energy, mounting system, and a inverter. Then you need permission to operate
DO NOT BE FOOLED. THIS IS FAKE. The wires make no actual contact with the disks metal, it only touches it's outer layer. also there is no way you would get that much energy
I think this works, the diy copper disk solar panel works but doesn't last very long before ruined by the weather. I made diy panel from cheap solar cells and moisture gets inside in a yr & ruins it.
yep, and if this works, I cut my dick and feed it to the ducks. @michaelbrinks8089 and @zlatanzakic @zlatanzakic obviously you did not watched till end. I scrolled it, and saw that the whole thing is embeded in resin. better insulated than regular solar panels. and by the way, at the fan test. the fan started spinning after he took away the wire:) he knows that some will notice. but this is better. more comments. Man we are such suckers making him rich :)
That's the tricky part, bro. Nobody's ever hidden a wire like that before. :))) cut the wire from the back of the disk in the middle, and connected 220v led through the pipe from the back soldered, your cool.🤣🤣🤣
Wait, what? So no need to use the toaster in the tub anymore to get to the final conclusion? you might consider disguising your project a bit better for your life insurance plan 🤣🤣🤣
@@johnbarry8185 You're right. First time through I thought there was part of one of the voltmeter wires off screen. But no, all three "loads" (meter, motor, bulbs) have all wires on screen so the power source must be inside them. The wire round the CD's forms a low resistance path completing the circuit. The guy is ingenious, one wonders what he could be doing if we wasn't making fake videos.
Be sure to color around the edges of the CDs with a magic marker, too---RED for AC, and BLACK for DC! GREEN for a combination of both, and BLUE to make them pick up Cosmic Rays!
It varies from ground to ground, when I was repairing a large electric grill, (I was changing the heating coil) so I came across the red black and yellow, since the whites are connected in two circuits black with yellow and red with yellow, so I concluded that the black and red are energized and the yellow is GND
Lo ases bastante fácil que bueno pero gracias por tu participación para todos aquellos amantes de la sabiduría saludos gracias felices fiestas y que tengas muy felices fiestas de fin año 😊😊
That's because moonlight is just reflected earthlight coming originally from sunlight. Lessened power output when no moon and cloud cover from starlight. Problem can be resolved by using storage batteries to power lightbulbs which then shine on the cds or l/Ps but the you have to use incandescent bulbs since LEDs don't give off heat, which is necessary for L/Ps to work.
No, CD's and DVD's do not have the materials needed to produce the photovoltaic effect, which is critical for Solar PV, so one cannot make solar panels out of CD's and DVDs.
The last time I used old CDs it was to scare away flies, wasps, etc.etc... and it gave me the same result that would happen to whoever wastes time doing this stupidity.
Guys there is a home made battery which holds much more power even than Lithium batteries to go along with this video! The battery manufacturers don't want you to know but if you use tinned and lacquered copper wire, wrapped around dead rats that have been soaked in sodium hydroxilate for 24 hours, all rats in series with each other, you can make a battery that stores 1,000 amps per sq foot of space! Try it with 2 rats to start with and you will see!
You can actually make a really efficient Peltier stack like this too. You need a whole silo of CDs. Don't worry about taking them out of it, just wrap some aluminium foil around each end of the silo. To these pieces you connect your wires. Then put the whole lot in the fire and it will *really* release some energy!
Oh No. Really. Is it fake? It facinated me Soooo much that I watched it repetafly to start my project tomorrow when rain settles down. Waisted my time.... but y does that guy puts that much effort while having around 10Kw unit of Solar energy already on his rooftop.... we kall them Faltoo bunda...
Imagine all the houses did this with their entire roofs and all connected the wires for even more power as a means of free electricity off the grid in America with your neighbors.
Now THIS is impressive! The first video some guy had me using tin foil and said I needed the pruple silicone style disk... it did not produce what i wanted it to, Now I can make a much bigger homemade solar panel and do it like you!
You could try use silver wire instead of copper for 1 of the discs, to see how much more electricity it conducts. Silver should be the best conductor. I guess it’s not expensive for a little experiment
The best part of this process is the ammount of your own waisted time it took you to wind the copper wire around each CD. However, you have missed the opportunity of using it as an idea for a bird scarer.
Вранье, диски диэлектрик, плевсеглаз многослойный и работает по другому принципу, оптическому. а он обмотку мотает, даже сколько витков пишет бред какой-то. Да и откуда 220 вольт еще и переменка. Пиздеж
