This is how you make the ultimate guacamole recipe at home.
Ingredients:
Avocado
Serrano Peppers
Red Jalapeños
Red Onion
Cilantro
Lime
Salt
Recipe:
1. Peel and pit your avocados and add them to a large bowl. Use a spoon or fork to mash until you're at your desired consistency.
2. Finely chop a Serrano pepper, red onion, jalapeños, and cilantro and add them into the bowl. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
3. Mix in your ingredients until well combined, but be careful not to over-mix.
4. Serve as a dip with tortilla chips or as a flavorful addition to your favorite Mexican dishes.
Guacamole is not supposed to be a complicated recipe. Keep it simple and you'll be surprised how much better it turns out.

And for the love of guacamole everyone. When you store it, use plastic wrap and press the plastic all the way down. Plastic touching the guacamole and all. Let no air touch and it'll last.

Also, you can put a little bit of water on top of that first layer of plastic wrap. Then another layer covering the container itself, it stays good for a while

I love simplicity. This morning I had two leftover jars of super thin sliced jalapeños and onions, so I threw some Celtic salt and butter on the skillet, some of the onions with the juice and jalapeños with the seed, cracked three eggs on top and popped the yolks to make it semi scrambled. Chopped up some cilantro on top and ate with sourdough toast. Papi, tht shit was slamming

Hi, there are a couple of tricks in keeping fresh herbs fresher, longer. One, always trim the stems, as you would A bouquet of flowers. Two, like a 💐 place them in a vase (or jar) in water, just below the leaves. This works especially well for hers like basil, parsley, etc. Rachael Ray covers her basil on the counter with a plastic bag, sort of, like a mini "greenhouse" 🌿 And lastly, I saw on RU-vid Shorts that there is a new invention that you can store fresh herbs in this locking vessel -like tube in the fridge...more than likely can be found on Amazon. Would be a good investment to store minimal fresh herbs. Just some thoughts 💭😁👍🗽

Cilantro is not originally part of Mexican cuisine. It’s origins, Mediterranean area. Records dating from 1500BC show ancient Egyptians & Sanskrit using it. It came to N America with the migrants. Unlike avocados which was domesticated 5000 years ago roughly in the same area it’s heavily grown today.

Yes, that's the tricky part. Getting the balance right between all the ingredients. Takes practice. Start with 2 avocados at a time and play around with the ingredients. I usually use about half a yellow lemon for each average avocado, and I salt until the very end after everything has been mixed together to prevent over salting it. Onions and Chile pepper to taste. Once you have your recipe, write it down, but usually, you make adjustments on the fly because it's never exact, but a balanced recipe gets you 75% there. Good luck, and have fun experimenting.

There are actually certain variations depending on how you will use it. The one in this video is mostly chunky and made for dipping chips or on a tostada like they did in the video. A tostada is just a big tortilla chip anyway. The one you put on tacos is not as chunky and has a looser consistency. My family makes one specific for taquitos which is more of an emulsion sauce. We whip it in the blender until smooth. We spoon the avocado sauce over the taquitos or dip the taquito into the sauce in a small bowl.
