100% true! I remember working at a Mediterranean restaurant almost a decade ago. It wasn't the best job and the pay kind of sucked but our boss would let us eat all day as long as we did our work and the food was so good it made the job a lot more bearable and definitely made me stay working there longer then it would have

Green cabbage , red onion , carrot ,grated carrot , chopped parsley, greek yougurt ,lemon juice , a little olive oil salt + pepper , maybe a tiny bit of mild chilli flakes
If you pay me for the extra time and I get overtime after 40 ( and no bitching about it) then I'll stay until 2 am. I don't care. I've worked in places that will threaten to fire you because you worked 42 hours. It's like they expect you to clock out and do it out of love
My mom had a recipe that’s been handed down via the women in our family for a long time. That recipe has turned many coleslaw haters here in Finland into coleslaw enjoyers. Sometimes the reason you hate something is because you’re either buying prepackaged crap or someone’s not making it right. I tell everyone I’m a coleslaw snob and I 100% mean it. I’ve tried many restaurant slaws and they all flop except one place who clearly knows what they’re doing 😊
ive tried coleslaw many times being told again and again that its not bad and every single time its like ive been tricked into eating poison... the sight is bad enough but dear god the smell makes me nauseous, i couldn't imagine putting something so repulsive in my body
I feel bad for all of the coleslaw haters here that think their aunt Gertrude's crappy recipe that uses a bottle of wishbone dressing is how all coleslaw tastes.
I grew up on my grandma’s coleslaw, it is was the ONLY thing she made that I didn’t like. She used too much mayonnaise and vinegar and it would be soggy and soupy and she and way too tart. My mom makes it very similar to what is seen in this video and it’s absolutely delicious. Not too wet still nice and crunchy and refreshing, it’s even better if you chill all the ingredients before making. Cold coleslaw is delicious
Coleslaw, also known as cole slaw or simply as slaw, is a side dish consisting primarily of finely shredded raw cabbage with a salad dressing or condiment, commonly either vinaigrette or mayonnaise. This dish originated in the Netherlands in the 18th century
