How to Make the Workplace More Fun: Mini-moments of Fun. January 28 is official "Fun at Work Day" but given the enormous benefits of fun in the workplace, why not try and be more intentional when it comes to adding fun into your office or workplace on a daily basis. Simple, mini-moments of fun can reduce stress, build resiliency, spark creativity, bond teams and boost morale and happiness. Sometimes when life gets a little too hectic, I like to just put on my AirPods and relax to some music. It could be relaxing music or just plain rock.

Order muffins and pastries for the office. Coffee cart and barista in the breakroom. Root beer floats or ice-cream treats on a Friday during the summer. Pot luck, or cookie pot luck during the holidays. Select a few judges to make it a contest. Zoom call games and prizes during quarterly meetings. Happy hours.
