Why has no one made Tom Riddle’s wand from Yew wood yet?
Taxus baccata (European yew) is a well known poisonous plant. Eating a relatively small quantity of leaves can be fatal for livestock and humans. The toxicity of yew leaves is due to the presence of alkaloids known as taxines, of which taxine B is suspected as being one of the most poisonous.

This wand was made from a log of English Yew that I bought specifically for this project and I fitted it with a Phenix (red turkey) feather core. This is as described in the Harry Potter series by Garrick Ollivander. This build was a lot of fun to do, I truly hope you enjoy it!!!
