I love watching your wand making videos. I often think your wands look more genuine that the compared replicas. What would the world be without wood lovers and sunset suckers!
I'm obsessed with your videos keep going! The voice over in the last couple is really well done and I enjoyed the tidbits of info about trees!!! Thanks ❤
I really love these videos! They’re so fascinating, funny, and even cozy. I love the PoA so much and Lupin has a close place to me heart. For me some of the main reasons I love PoA so much, besides for the fantastic story, is the aesthetics, cinematography, and soundtrack. This wand was really cool to see made and it’s fascinating hearing about the intricacies of different types of wood and the trees they’re from. I don’t know if you’re a Tolkien fan, but if you are, once you complete your wand wall, would you be interested in making the Wizards staffs? That’d be super cool!
Thankyou - spending a long time packing and editing these! Just need a few more views!… It’ll be a long long time before I finish! But will probably leave it as a wands only channel!
Remus lupin like most wizards, he had lived a life filled with tragedy and misfortune, from being marked by the death eater greyback, making him into a werewolf living a complicated life, but found light as time passed, he was reunited with Sirius, married and had a kid with tonx, but it was really heartbreaking that they both died in the end, they knew the risks though and they died to protect those they cared for like most of us we sometimes find ourselves In the situation that seem meaningless and hopeless, we've all experienced that feeling before, but there's one thing that we must remember, as wise as Dumbledore once said "happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, but only if we remember to turn on the lights" no matter what gets thrown at us there will always be hope no matter what, and again an amazing job as always, keep up the good work no matter what gets in your way 😊
Technically Fenrir Greyback was never officially a Death Eater as he did not have the Dark Mark. Voldemort hated what he considered “half breeds” which included Werewolves.
Would love to see you make Harry’s wand and some of the other wands from the first two movies that were replaced/ changed when the franchise changed directors.
Love the story of the tree and seeing the milling process. Remus’ wand always seemed the simplest but the most comfortable in hand. Also you could do really well as an ASMRtist too.
I stumbled across your channel a couple weeks back, and I'm so glad you're doing Lupin's wand!!!! Keep up the great work, you're such a great woodworker / craftsman!
I’d really like to see you take on george’s wand. That curve in the handle would be really interesting to see how something like that could be made as well as that transition into the shaft
Wood turning was always so captivating to watch. I've done metal machining and have a wood lathe my father left me so I need to get to it. I think Lupin might have something to say about you making his wand under a full moon
I want to get into machining much more when I'm older (and have more space/money!) - it really helps bring accuracy across to woodwork. Don't copy what I do at the lathe though! Awwoo9oo
Loving the work dude. Your attention to detail is amazing. I've tried making a few and I've now had a few friends asking for some wands. This might seem like a cheeky question, but where do you get the boxes you send yours in? Much appreciated.
great commentary...yes I heard that little parody ....I agree for carbide its s....... Now I remember an old timer when I was turning in the 80's was looking at a new tool and rather than examine the tool he looked at the shavings and did that affirmative nod that people who know what theyre about have hmmm I think green Great Dragon works to be honest but I like playing with words I think you did a crackiong job of it and did David and Remus proud
Don't ripping blades have fewer, flat teeth? And bigger gullets to clear the sawdust? Crosscut blades have more, angled/pointed teeth to cleanly sever the wood fibers and leave a cleaner cut. The downside is they don't clear dust as quickly, and generate more heat.
I absolutely love these videos 😍 Do you think you could do dumbledoors wand from the fantastic beasts movies? There's a theory that it's the brother to the elder wand
hi, great video first of all, also what type and make is your lathe, it looks like a star wars speeder. i think it is th emost aesthetic wood lathe i've ever seen
Ahhhhhh Prisoner, the movie with my highest love/hate level... Alfonso made some of the best choices and some of the strangest/worst choices of all the films
