My trailer was in need of repair, so I took it as an opportunity to share how I make hinges for trailers, also a tailgate. It was time to install side barriers, and the wheel bearings were packed with grease. Hope everyone enjoys the video. Thanks for watching!

How's she goin'? The rear end of the trailer was in pretty sad shape. Now it looks great!!! Nice simple hinge and it's easily removable. To me this is important. Nice job!! Merry Christmas and take 'er easy!!!

What size and thickness expanded sheet did you go with? Trying to decide what to use on my trailer and yours looks good!

I like a smaller size than what I used, it was just the cheapest 😂😂 I would use about 1" hole

Why didnt you make the gate touch the ground for loading and unloading?

The trailer is being used only for wood specifically, so I didn't see the need to spend extra money on more material, makes sense I hope? Thanks for watching!

who ever buy steel mesh 4 x 8 sheet put on trailer in the long run going have trouble sooner or later ! . NEVER PUT STEEL MESH FOR ANY FLOORING OR DECKING UN LESS U HAVE HEAVY DUTY STEEL MESH SHEET " WANT HARDLY BROKE UNDER A LOAD " ! ! ! ! .
