Now let's - MAKE THAT SANDWICH!
My Favorite Sandwich to date! You could call me a size queen - evident in my love for this sandwich. This gargantuan beast was of course incredibly delicious. Since it was third time making fried chicken it had to be triple fried chicken. Side note - This would be an incredible VEGETARIAN sandwich if you remove the chicken (and the eggs if you don’t eat eggs). It holds up and has so many great flavors. I dedicate the cut of this sandwich to my niece Charley @chach

Pickled Eggs
Brie
Fried Chicken
Grilled Onions
Caramelized Carrots
Dill garlic lemon crema
Thinly sliced cucumbers
Thinly sliced beets
Broccoli Sprouts

TRIPLE DIPPED FRIED CHICKEN
Recipe - from @allrecipies
Ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons garlic salt
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/2 cups beer or water
1-quart vegetable oil for frying
1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces
Directions
* In one medium bowl, mix together 3 cups of flour, garlic salt, 1 tablespoon black pepper, paprika, and poultry seasoning. In a separate bowl, stir together 1 1/3 cups flour, salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, egg yolks and beer. You may need to thin with additional beer if the batter is too thick.
* Heat the oil in a deep-fryer to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Moisten each piece of chicken with a little water, then dip in the dry mix. Shake off excess and dip in the wet mix, then dip in the dry mix once more.
* Carefully place the chicken pieces in the hot oil. Fry for 15 to 18 minutes, or until well browned. Smaller pieces will not take as long. Large pieces may take longer. Remove and drain on paper towels before serving.
PICKLED EGGS/BEETS
1 (15 ounce) can pickled beets, juice only
1 cup white vinegar and or apple cider or rice wine/seasoned rice wine (I did these w apple cider & rice wine)
2 1/2 cups water
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 bay leaf
1 teaspoon pickling spice
1/2 teaspoon salt
12 hard-boiled eggs, shells removed
1 onion, chopped
Directions
* Drain pickled beets and reserve 1 cup of the juice. Place beet juice, vinegar, water and wine in a large non-reactive glass bowl or jar.
* Add garlic, bay leaf, pickling spices, and salt. Mix well. Add eggs and onion rings. Cover tightly, refrigerate for one week before eating.
CARAMELIZED CARROTS
Carrots (as many as you can fit into the roasting pan because everyone will eat the fuck out of them)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup salt
Enough water to fill a deep baking/roasting pan
Directions
Set oven to 415 F
Peel carrots
Fill the pan with water
Add sugar and salt and dissolve. Taste the water - it may need more salt. It should taste salty but not to a crazy degree.
Place carrots in the water and cover with foil. When I learned this - the chefs covered it with saran but my mother was so upset when she heard I did this because she doesn’t want me getting cancer that I promised I wouldn’t do it anymore.
Place in the oven for an hour
Remove from the oven but let them sit and cool in the liquid.
Place carrots on paper towels for a few hours to dry.
Place on a roasting pan with oil and roast until golden at 425 F
These are the best carrots on earth. Beware
Yogurt Garlic Crema
1/2 cup Labneh or Greek Yogurt
1 clove garlic crushed or microplaned
A bunch of dill
Salt
Lemon
Stir
Toast-Bread
Melt Brie
Layer: Carrots, beets, sprouts, eggs, chicken, onions
Spread yogurt sauce on the bun
MAKE THAT SANDWICH!!!!
