Taking a few days off at the Shamba to clear my mind life is usually a hustle and a lot has been happening of late so hard to keep up, sometimes every human being needs a little time away from the daily hustles just to meditate, and my kind of meditation is definitely home away from home and lots of therapeutic cooking happening. This time around we make some delicious Sima ya Unga wa Dola using Firewood and serve it with some tuna curry we didn’t have time to chinja kuku we wanted to make some comfort food that is easy to make and still super delicious. Alafu sima ya kupikwa na kuni inasalp tu vi différent so gooood!!!! Vurunyaaa Mwanangu
For the ugali. (Sima)
Unga wa Dola all purpose flour
Boiling Water
Cook as you desire, as per your preference.
For the tuna curry
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 cans Tuna
2 onions sliced
1 teaspoon curry powder
3 tomatoes diced
100g tomato paste
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt to taste
What to do:-
In a wok add in the oil, sauté the onions until golden now add in the curry powder mix well go in with the tomatoes cook until soft now add in the tomato paste mix until fragrant, then go in with the tuna combine using a spatula add in juice of 1 lemon and salt to taste cook until the oils start to bubble up. Serve with ugali.
