Although I’m late to see the video great to hear you are doing well. I recently found out I have a bicuspid valve and thoracic aortic aneurism. Although it’s small I’ll have to watch it for the rest of my life. No more heavy physical activity which leaves more time for fishing and bait making!

Hey man love your videos but I have a question? I make baits for gulf of Mexico in the 4.2 inch riprap right now I use the saltwater sinking blend do you think I should use a different blend?

Great to see and hear you again! Poke Josh and tell him the northern guys want 1/4oz as well which is about as big as we go! That mold is amazing and I absolutely LOVE the options it has. The 3.8 rip rap is taking off beyond my imagining with the walleye fishermen so a swim head I could add eyes to would just be money in the bank. I know with your baits the eyes are the finishing touch but walleyes actually target the eye. I have baits that arenothing but little eye balls with hooks on that catch fish so it is kind of important for me and pizazz for you.

So glad your most recent procedure went so well and you're healing up. My daughter was born with the same heart defect and went through open heart surgery at less than a week old. Fortunately she didn't have the valve or narrowing problems that you had, so she didn't need to go through additional surgeries later. She is now a healthy 27 year old, and I will be walking her down the aisle for her wedding day in early November. Again so glad your heart is now doing well, and pray it continues to do so for many years to come.

I'm so glad you were able to have the opportunity for the newer technology surgery. My Grandfather had similar surgery, but he was so advanced in years, the rest of his heart couldn't handle the stress. Grateful it all went so well!

Really need a 1/4 and an 1/8 everyone I know uses an 1/8 for the arig and a 1/4 for a single bait. But these look awesome! Glad you are feeling good and everything went well!

Glad you’re recovering well from surgery. I have a couple cnc machined lead molds and a ton of do-it lead molds. One thing that’s really nice about cnc lead molds is that you don’t need to really smoke them or use drop out spray to get a clean pour. I also use a locking c-clamp pair of vise grips to hold the mold.

Thank you for sharing man. Heath issues are often difficult to talk about. 🤘🏽🤘🏽 I was going to suggest using vice grips to ensure a safe grip on the mold. Maybe relay that to him in the future to machine out a notch on both sides to accommodate a plier or vice grip.

I post videos on TikTok usually at the same time as RU-vid and get hundreds of views on it compared to a handful of views on RU-vid... Even Instagram I've got almost 600 followers on it compared to 165 on RU-vid... I really think that RU-vid unsubscribes viewers and removes views on videos

Thats a sweet mold. You could just leave the bottom wire form out and pour it and cut the extra lead off and make strait swimbait jig heads. A handle on the mold is pry a decent idea tho. Im a do-it guy for my lead molds but these look way more precise

No matter what anyone tells you, even if is your best friend please DO NOT smoke your mold or spray it with all kind of crap "for better pours". Stay professional and pour lead like a pro without obliterating those AI beautiful jig molds. I'm a lead addict and I know what I'm talking about. Can't wait to get my hands on those molds when I'll drive through Michigan.
