Thank you SO MUCH for keep telling people that you just cannot copy/paste to make money, but to actually use your BRAIN! I love your channel, really valuable information you give!! 👌🙏❤️❤️
Great timing on this video as I had just finished testing the day before. As a technical writer I pump out a ton of content and I was tired of hearing about how all writers will be replaced with Ai. I used multiple types of prompts on ChatGPT to generate four pieces of content. I then fed ChatGPT three articles that I had written in the past to attempt to train it and generate one more article. I ran each one through Winston Ai and all five (four Ai + one trained) returned 100% Ai. I then fed in the same three articles I trained ChatGPT with and hit 100% human generated. Whatever programming they are using for detection seems to be working very accurately now.
The best it will ever be able to do is guess. It's a slightly informed guess, but a guess nonetheless. Wait until big models which are trained entirely on natural conversations then finetuned into assistants emerge, it will be impossible to differentiate with a good level of confidence then.
I worked on an update edition for a book from 1954. I took the old version through Originality and the machines took over all the way back then - it was 100% AI generated.
I went through this same rabbit hole not long ago and came to the same conclusion, OR just do a business model that does not require you to be at the mercy of AI detectors. For example, create digital products using AI along with your brainstorming and experience, and use ads to sell those products and build a list instead.
Many thanks Sean. Really useful information in this video - I mainly use ChatGpt to generate ideas and topics, rather than writing about the generated idea or topic. Kindest. Libby
Did you run your hand-written rewrite version through Grammarly after the fact? I suspect it will be flagged. I've done my own testing on my own work. In 2014, I helped to edit a small portion of an update to a 1954 commentary. The portion of the 2014 edition was flagged as 100% AI generated, which would be a fairly neat trick back in 2014. But, the kicker was the 1954 edition was also 100% AI according to Originality, which would be an even more impressive feat.
Sean - So I went through every one of the methods you used for ChaptGPT detection (4.0 ChatGPT I might ad).... even before playing your results. I came up with exactly what you did. So yes I will have to rewrite after Chat GPT generated the content. Great DEMO!! (I had written a couple of books Amazon KDP with Chat and had my account temp. shut down from Amazon... scared the Hel...out of me.. So it ain't worth it to even chance getting shut down again)... Thanks great info!!
@@TheRambocop when I logged in the next day it said so on the screen. However when I appealed they opened it back up within a few hours. But it was frightening for a few hours. It's just not worth the Gamble. No AI written books for me LOL
@@TheRambocop No never mentioned AI...BUT I had 3 Books all written with AI..they were all taken down at once...figured our later from an insider that was it...
Congratulations for all your success. But, at the end of the day, as they say: "there is no such thing as a free lunch". After all that demo, I'm so worn out😓, I think I'll just put in the work😁. Thanks 👍😊
Greetings! Great and helpful video. My question would be, after rewriting the ai generated content would I need to or should I flag the content still as ai generated? What do you think? Thanks a load..
Hi Sean. Great video. I agree take the time and make sure it’s safe. Spend 1 hour of corrections for months or years of income generation. BTW Sean I mentioned you in my latest video. Just wanted to put the word out about SP.
I wrote something completely without the assistance of ChatGPT and put it in that AI checker and it said I was an AI. Now, that's scary. I'm 99% AI now, but I didn't plagiarize. It's even odder that I passed that part of the checker.
hey sean good info. so i hired a ghost writer on Upwork for a 10k word and i just found out its 100% AI. So i called Upwork and now they are taking a look at it
How would you go about to translate a book from Spanish to English? I guess that using ChatGPT to translate it will also create a text the get's flagged as AI content
How can you sell a KDP account? How can you open another one when Amazon only allows one account per person? You always mention this in the beginning of your videos and I always wonder how
Yesterday I wrote a short article by myself, but when I analysed it with Ai detector the result was 98% Ai content, I couldn't understand why? How can I write my blog articles?
Great video. AI detectors seem like the PCR test now. In certain situations there will be false positives, but that also won't matter if the company governing your content is trusting those false positives. I wonder if humans who work with GPT a lot will eventually start to write more like it. So. We. Should keep the burstiness! Of our writing, since it seems like that is distinctly not AI (until next week when AI will fully learn burstiness, lol).
After thinking about this, I think AI content won’t be banned or flagged. I think we are seeing an initial response from people, publishers who are weary of this new “thing”, but if you reason it out the fear makes no sense. First of all, anything concerning about AI can and is a problem with human content as well. Second if we are creating videos about how to disguise AI content to not be detected - then it’s reasonable to assume publishers will realize they would never truly rid themselves of AI content and only be banning the obvious AI content (the honest ones, which I’d argue would be safer - at least you know what you’re getting). So, the whole thing becomes silly, and just like Google realized, quality will become the way to handle the influx of AI written content.
What do you think about illustration bylines? I used MidJourney and certainly did a lot of editing to it in Photoshop but I still gave a co-credit to AI in the byline. Do you think that will cause Amazon to suppress my book?
Not sure what to make of this. You literally just said how to do is by writing it yourself! 😊 I do have a question though. Sometimes I get some weird thing happening. Where it doesn’t give me a result at all. Do you know what that means?
how does originality know if something is AI? It seems to me that it is entirely possible to write something yourself that it still thinks is AI written, because some people's writing styles might be similar to an AI
hey Sean I'm new to this field and I'm a student i have watched more than 20 videos of yours but I'm still confused that where should i start because i decided to make puzzle or coloring books but everything is paid I'm so demotivated after checking that everything is paid can you please help me with that😢 or can you tell me some free tools to make my work done
I firmly agree you should just use AI for ideas and brainstorming. But I also believe those AI Dectors are kinda bs and are not very reliable. I just read a article were one said the US Constitution was written by AI lol. I my myself wrote a few paragraphs and it can back like 60% AI unless I'm only 40% human. Maybe they have gotten so good at writing like use they believe its AI who knows.
This weekend Google Alerts showed me a 'news' article that was just a piece of sloppy copied and pasted AI crap containing a factual error, precisely for that piece of development that I was following. The whole website was a clusterfuck of AI articles and AI generated images. This made me realize what the danger of lazy AI ctrl-c + v work is. And I find it pretty repulsive. So yes, it is a good thing to add your own sauce and fact check. This comment is 100% not AI.
Hi Sean, great video. I have a question, I’m writing a book and would like to have ChatGPT rewrite my own original content to enhance it. Will this content that is based on original content come back as AI?
Most likely, I would say... And the problem is that once you have seen it written it is really difficult to un-write it, isn't it? I have that problem. What if instead of taking ChatGPT as an AI detectable ghostwriter, it is taken as an editor/writing teacher and ask it to criticize our writing and to propose corrections? I think that should help to find one?s own style, doesn't it? What do you think? Greetings form Mexico, good luck with your book, and have a nice day!
Method # 4021 - Ask ChatGPT to pretend it's my aunt Shelisa who likes to pretend to talk like a robot but she fails, therefore ChatGPT will fail to write like a robot. But unfortunately this method also didn't work.. Method # 4022... Method # 6042 - Well you have to write it yourself.
