Something else is that generally you would want to spray it around a foot off the ground on objects at least. Note how dogs mark on objects, usually reaching pretty high on it? It is mainly to make themselves seem larger to animals who smell it if I am not mistaken. So, spraying it on the ground or very low down will give the impression you are a small being and not very intimidating.

I am a wild cat therian and I am pretty territorial so this really helped!

Useful for my territory in the woods I used blood, beetroots, jackfruit and massed fenugreek seeds ect. Mix of nasty and good smells Therotype is a tiger so I made a covered place in the woods sense tigers don't really have dens I'll spray around it on the weekends. Y’all are so lucky you live by forests, why do therians always live by these beautiful places 😭 I’m just in the stupid city with neighbors always watching, and there aren’t any forests near me. I’m so jealous, I can’t even be myself in this city

I know this is a little different, but since I am a (questioning) ant therian, I actually made one that has a sweeter scent so it would be something someone would like to follow, and I usually will find food and spray it, i dont always do it all the way back to my house, but most of the time I do. It sucks though, because I dont have any therian friends or, specifically, ant 'friends'. But anyways, I always love to see your videos thorn

One time my sister came into my room, and I started growling. It just slipped out. I felt like a had bristled fur and ears pinned. There was an awkward silence.

I used to spray lavender and vanilla essential oils all over my bedroom to make I feel like my own area and would get extremely territorial whenever people came in there and sprayed different essential oils in there. Like I'd start aggressively purring...? Idk but I still do that and it's cool to see that this might be the reason for that

everytime im on a trail or a road, if there is a PERSON WALKING DOWN THE ROAD I get protective. Very protective. If the person so much as LOOKS at me or my sister, I give them the BOLDEST side eye that is known to earth. And if they ask a quedtion or SPEAK I sometimes growl. But I never mean to...😊

Watching you scent mark your territory is definitely one of the coolest things I have ever seen! As a wolf therian, I can become a bit harsh at being territorial but I am excited to see what I come up with now knowing how to make a marker.

Since I was born in a place where we don't have nature places at all and my yard is just too small, I just grabbed some perfumes I own, passed it on me and sprayed it on some spots of my house. Since I will smell like the scent marker, and these places will smell like me!

I’m questioning whether or not I might be a therian and this channel is really helpful when it comes to making me realize that some traits of mine that I couldn’t really explain could potentially be therian related! I am very territorial, I *hate* it when people do seemingly simple things like sitting in a spot where I usually sit, putting their hands or items on my desk when I’m sitting in it, and eating or throwing away food I had claimed. Before I thought I was just being over dramatic and it was silly that I was getting way too angry by these pretty harmless and mildly inconvenient things, but it could make sense if these emotions and feelings are therian related! I, of course, still have a long way to go when it comes to figuring out whether or not I’m a therian, I do not want to identify myself as such until I’ve done enough research and self reflection to confidently say I am a therian, but your channel has helped me figure things out a lot! Lots of respect to ya!

Tip for scent bottles!: You know those deodorant sprays that look like some sort of bottle thing? Well, if it’s empty you can go wash it off, clean it very well and make it your scent marker! You can also take off the stickers and add your own decorations to it if you’d like. Do know this one isn’t clear, so if you want a clear one… idk how to do that. Maybe a clear perfume bottle.

oh and I have a tip, after I show the video I tried to make one myself, and I used these technique: I toke a dry sponges scrubbed it on me and then I put water on it, and then I squeezed the water in a bottle. hope these helped!

I don't have really hard territorial behaviour, but possessiveness. I feel really connected to my money, childhood's toys, plushes and everything I posses. I remember when I was 5 years old kid, someone had stolen me a toy car I fought for it during 2 months to get it back. I have a big connection with my owns, and I know it sounds really Materialistic.

I made this and ran around the forest climbing trees and marking them. I marked the trunk of a tree and ran up it as people passed by, They didn’t see me but smelled me I tried going for a realistic leopard scent and it worked They sniffed it and said: “Ayo there’s a leopard here” “No there ain’t” “Sniff the tree” And they sniffed it,screamed and ran. I giggled to myself.

I did this last year! I’m a Pallas cat type and I find snow hills and dig in them to get the perfect den for my type. Also surprisingly cozy in my den, I used one of these things and filled it with some outside safe liquid (I don’t remember what I just remember that I read outdoors safe)

so i have "territory", but its at school. its the spot i sit at w/ my frens. anyone but my frens sit in the area, all 3 of us get mad. we also have indavidual "sit spots" and get angy at eachother when say fren 1 sits in my "sit spot".

I put mine in an empty soap bottle and put toothpaste in it with water, and called it bird spray because my parents don't know ima therian

I use some hairspray Toni because it’s my room I just sprayed the corners and sometimes just randomly in the air, especially above my bed like my bedpost corners and if I make a den just all over the dead, but if I was going to go outside I would use something that wouldn’t hurt the environment

I’m still trying to figure out my theriotype, but this has made me realize I am.. very territorial. Uh,,, I very get mad whenever someone tries to come into my room or even knocks on the door, but I ease up if it’s my parents. I end up yelling if it’s my brother though- definitely keeping note of this as I try to figure out my theriotype. Ty for the tut if I end up ever needing it

As a very territorial male red fox therian, (female as a human, my theriotype is a male, it’s kinda complicated) I HATE IT when people come into my claimed areas, I get violent and have bad teeth and claw shifts Edit: i made one and it smells like my habitat! It’s cedar and pine along with some tea :D

If you know the scent of a candle you can usually find scent oils that are the same smell

My son marker has the laundry stuff I use in it like this laundry sheets It smells like me I'm Planning on adding a little bit of green mint

Hiya! I just marked my territory for the first time. I’m hoping it is strong enough, after following your tutorial. I used: rain water, pine, thyme, rosemary, basil, flowers, and a bit of the water that runs off me in the shower. I’m hoping this will be strong enough, because I can’t really smell it after spraying it on my territory using a spray bottle, but I know an animal would probable be able to smell it. Anyone have any suggestions to make it stronger? Like an ingredient. All the thanks, from a grey wolf, river otter, and cat Therian.

To make the scent stronger, sometimes like to add drops of my favorite essential oils

Another thing you can do as a base is bet your hair (dye not wash it or shower just wet your hair) and squeeze the water out of your hair into a bowl and use that for a base

also make sure you research your theriotypes territorial behaviours in detail! im a wolf therian, and wolves have very specific places that they spray every couple weeks, ive seen it described as a "scent post". they always go back to it, and never spray in other areas because spraying is a territorial behaviour and different than regular waste. typically, animals who follow that kind of system have very spaced out posts, so make sure your posts aren't too close together. count your steps, and make sure you can't properly see the nearest post.

I personally suggest asserting your dominance by p e e I n g o n e v e r y t h I n g. Jk. Great video - I did something like this when I was 13 with cat nip and it smelt terrible 😂

i have a spray bottle with "rain water" scent and lavendar mixed within and people instantly know "oh that koshi's spot" (which is usually my room) but this is a great video!
