Thank you for posting. Many other receipes I've seen add eggs to the potatoes before adding flour. I should try without eggs. Just wondering if there is a difference in taste. Question for you, do you know if it can be made with SPELT FLOUR?
Did it. Thanks for the new addition to the tool belt of irresistable recipes! Trying to go raw vegan, but this makes a nice cheat with plenty of nearly fresh raw add ons once gnocchi is cooked.
I found a recipe on the back of a package of vegan gnocchi where you put some pasta sauce in a pan and dilute it and cook the gnocchi in the sauce I have also been known to throw that mixture in an ovenproof dish and bake it for a short while - further reducing the sauce
Thank you! I'm not sure how well it would hold its shape if potato flour is used you could give it a try. Try not to use too much water to rehydrate it. Let me know how it turns out!
Yes you can boil them. Be sure to remove them as they start to float. They can be cooked before freezing but for best results, cook them before serving.
