HOW TO MAKE Volume VS Mega Volume fans with me 

Note to new stylists: Easy fan lashes do have a coating on the base so they are slightly heavier than regular lash extensions that you create fans with. There’s nothing wrong with using easy-fans but just understand or learn the concept of weight compared to the client’s natural lashes.

ur hair looks amazing! although on the sponge you can’t actually see the difference between the way the two look. for anyone starting lashing who’s confused. russian volume is abit more wispy and textured. the fans are aldo wider. mega volume fans don’t fan out as far, and are abit longer before they fan out- so the result is a very dark lash line with more of a uniform band. russian volume lashes have more shape and dimension. i personally feel like mega volume looks super fake and less interesting. since it’s a uniform black line, you can’t play up the styling and create different looks. other than length and dimension, every set you do will look the same. but hey, to each is own.

One thing about easy fans it’s actually a lot of work. Picking up place pick up place again is kind of a slower process then making ur own fan. I use the pinch method and make a fan instantly. Plus when u make ur own fan u can wrap the lashes for better retention. These are good for those who can’t get volume fan making down with the non glued base lashes. I took much longer on a set using easy fans then my handmade ones 😬

I was taught in my course that Russian volume meant fans had 5 or less fibres. The difference between russian, regular volume and mega is the number of fibres per fan. It can be confusing for a beginner because there is some contradicting info out there!

I have found it to be more effective in efficiency and cost to use a sticky dot and be able to utilize every lash on the strip

I adore your work, the way you explain, how much passion you put into explaining, being simple but comprehensive in the same time and I adore the FACT that you rock as an lash artist. I bought the boot tweezers and the 35 degree tweezers! I feel like they don’t squeeze together all the way though, especially the boot tweezers at the tip ☹️ it would be cool if you could do a video on where the sweet spots are on all your tweezers and tips on using them and stuff! I lose a few lashes every time I pick them up.

I’m confused why you have to use the foil over the stone. If the foil is over the stone anyway, I don’t think the stone is necessary right? Why not just cut up pieces of foil and use them alone? Is it too weigh it down? If so, lots of things could hold down the foil...? Are their properties of the jade stone that helps the process from underneath the foil?

So, russian fan is wider than mega volume right ? But the number of lash and diameter are the same. Correct me if i am wrong 😘

NEED HELP ! I've watched so many videos, including yours. (liked and subscribed) I was hesitant to taping back the lashes as I go, and my worst nightmare came true. The lashes were sticking to the tape! I used the same kind of tape you did. Also, after I apply the lash, I give it more than enough time to dry before continuing, and the glue will STILL stick to other lashes.
